This a lovely apartment situated in the quieter Bournemouth suburb of Southbourne-On-Sea. Famed for it’s long and winding high street made up of traditional style independent shops, Southbourne is an ideal choice for people who want to enjoy a bustling, yet not over-crowded holiday experience. The apartment is a five-minute walk from the cliff-top and beach, and a two-minute walk from the local high-street.

Five minutes drive to the West you find Boscombe, home to the great romantic poet Sir Percy Shelley and his second wife Mary Shelley (author of Frankenstein). A mile further on and you have the busy seaside resort of Bournemouth. Fifteen minutes drive to the East and you have Hengistbury Head - A site of international archaeological importance, local nature reserve and site of scientific interest.

Attractions East and West are joined by a beach-side undercliff drive which connects the whole stretch of coast via Southbourne’s Blue-Flag beach. Enjoy a ramble, take a land-train, a ferry, or stay local and enjoy everything that Southbourne has to offer.

Local activities include tennis, bowls, water sports and the famous Fisherman’s Walk Railway. A functional railway connecting the cliff top coastal road, the promenade and beach.

Merci à Henri qui nous a accueilli très gentiment... et en français ! L'appartement était conforme à sa description, très propre et très bien équipé. Lit d'appoint très confortable ! Nous avons pu à la fois garer notre voiture et profiter de la proximité immédiate de l'arrêt de bus nous permettant de rejoindre le centre ville. Nous avons apprécié le jardin privatif et la plage toute proche. Merci encore !
