Il Povile is a fascinating mansion eco friendly restored in the roman countryside, immersed in a 42 acres park with a 360° panoramic pool chlorine free overlooking a stunning view on the Tiber valley, a sauna, bbq and dependances
Il Povile is the italian countryhouse of your dreams, between umbrian hills, in a peaceful location just 2 steps away from Rome (by train 50 minutes to arrive in the city centre), Orvieto, Viterbo, Perugia, the lakes of Bolsena and Vico, and even Florence (less than 2 hours by train or car). The villa is completely furnished and decorated with original lights and furniture, each one restored and given to a second life. In the garden there is a panoramic swimming pool with beach, shore and underwater sitting areas, a big barbecue for summer parties, a greenhouse where to see plants growing up, a fresh pinewood to have a rest after swimming. Walking trough the fields passing by the orchards, the vegetable garden, the olives, the apiary, you'll reach the wood where there is a walnut grove close to a natural pond coming from a spring.
The property consists of a main house and if needed 2 dependances: the number of people it can host goes from 2 to a maximum of 22. This makes it ideal for families or a group of friends.

After many years working as graphic designer, I decided to follow my passion for nature and echology by restoring a beautiful and antique countryhouse in the middle of the roman countryside. In this peaceful place I can deepen my various interests and things I love: watching plants growing up from the seed I planted, admiring the birth of little animals, dedicating myself to reading. I love dancing, listening to music, cooking new dishes with traditional ingredients; I love travelling with my friends and my daughter, I love sharing the story of this place with my guests, my passion for every plant, tree or stone which live here with me, showing different kind of spotaneous and edible plant you can pick in the fields nearby, so that each one can take part to the harmony of nature.
