As a member of the original people, the Teme Augama Anishnabai Nation (C) (People of the Deep water), I offer a visit to Ndakemenan (Ojibway for "Our Land") through the eyes of our ancestors. We offer gourmet dinner cruises, half day and full day cruises among the 1200 islands of Temagami Lake. View old growth forests of red and white pine. A full day excursion will include the world’s largest old growth red pine forest left. Your accommodations are your choice. Camp on an Island. Bring yourself, food and drink. Or our Glamping Gourmet (C) can supply fresh meals daily. Stay in our Eco Cabin, solar light, fire pit, phone, outside rain barrel shower, latrine, no running water. On the mainland, a 4 bedroom home for rent, or a room at the B&B. A lovely spring fed lake, legend has it that if you drink from or swim in Temagami Lake, our ancestors call you back to the lake yearly. We are avid readers with books galore available to read. We love good food, music and company of good people. Children and pets are welcome. We have traveled extensively and can think of no other place than this, for us to enjoy and continue learning about. Our life motto is to “spend all our time being ourselves and seek the company of others who have similar respect for others and the land”.
