The space

Our house have a nick name "boat-house". It has very unusual room layout - like a truncated triangle. Window view to 2 sides - east and west. House is an old stone house inside historic part of the old city. Both apartments are air-conditioned, with wireless internet connection.

On the top of the house is a small terrace open for guests.

We would like to ask for rational use of energy concerning use of air conditioning through the nighttime. Also the outside units are close to windows, there is noise issue, so we recomend on both of these acounts that you enjoy the benefit of cool, fresh see-side night breeze. Thanks for understanding.

Apartment is in a good location. Although it is a small apartment it has everything you might need on a short stay. As we read on other comments, the church bell is really close, but it was not a problem for us. Internet was surprisily fast.

Adica's home was something very special. The outside is full of character. Our room was fairly basic with minimal amenities in kitchen however still nice and authentic. The kitchen could do with a few more utilities like wine glasses and an opener however when we asked her mother this was kindly given. Also a bin in the kitchen would be useful. Otherwise what a special little place. It's so close to everything! The streets are a maze of little local boutiques, wineries and near all the restaurants. The bells do ring, on a Sunday they were quite something!! But we liked them, again added character. All in all a lovely little basic apartment in a stunning setting. Would recommend! :)

We spent 5 days in this apartment. The main host was Adica's mother but we had the pleasure to meet Adica on the first day. Both of them are really nice: Adica is always available (we texted her several times through Airbnb, and we always received a quick answer!). Her mother is kind and helpful. She does not speak english (or any other language besides croatian) but we managed to understand each other (we even had a chat with her: a beer, a croatian-italian dictionary and some flyers about Stari Grad). The apartment was nice, clean and  confortable. The bathroom had a small problem: having a shower means water on the floor, and since there is no window, is kind of difficult to get rid of. We had enough towels with the option for more, if needed. The small kitchen had everything we needed. During the evening/night, if you want to keep the windows open, you have to put some work into the insect screen,  since there are quite a few mosquites. The wifi signal is perfect, even for streaming. The location is really beautiful and in the town center. It's quite, if you don't mind the church bells. It's near a grocery store (7-22 working days) and the main bus station (to the ferry port, Hvar or any other destination). At first we didn't know if it was worth it to choose Stari Grad instead of Hvar... it definitely was. The town is lovely and we had a great time.

The Adica's apartment is small but very comfortable also because of his position in the center of city and near a free parking. Filippo and Elisa

Adica's apartmtens is located in nice old town part of Stari Grad. Room was clean and equipped with everything to make 1 night stay comfortable, my only complain is room was not as advertised on pictures. Altogether, we were happy with our stay.
