Kathleen was a very good host. Very helpful. We arrived later than expected and the heating had been put on for us. The house is comfortably furnished with good WIFI. The area is beautiful and there are many places of interest to visit. We would highly recommend Kathleen's cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Kathleen was really helpful on the night we arrived, late and unsure of our way ;she directed us the right way to the house and we were really pleased to arrive.( Kathleen's original directions were correct, it's just that I confused the location with another place). She was very understanding and welcoming as a host as I had some difficult family news and we were unsure about whether we could stay as long as we originally intended. She made us feel very welcome and her scones were delicious! The house was very comfortable and easy to be in;the kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in .I loved the sense of history in the house .We loved the location and views; I was in a state of bliss looking out at the bay, watching rainbows and sun playing on waves. We enjoyed visiting local spots, such as Dingle as well as just listening to the sound of the wind and birds. All in all we had a lovely time.

Kathleen was a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome. She made sure we knew she was just next door if we had any questions, but left us to our own devices for the few lovely days we spent at her cottage. The listing was exactly as described - and the views from the property are absolutely stunning. If you come in winter / when it is chillier then like us I am sure you will enjoy cosying up by the open fire. The electric blanket in the bedroom was a nice touch as well, how lovely to get into a nice warm bed! The location is very well situated if you are looking to explore the Dingle peninsula for a few days and there are some lovely walks from the cottage itself, up the cliff-side and over the hills etc. Gorgeous! In Brandon itself (15/20 minute walk down/up the hill!) there are also a couple of lovely pubs - as a head's up Murphys by the pier does not take card payments. The food at the other pub was very tasty. Castlegregory is the nearest town that has a proper supermarket (about a 30 minute drive each way) so do stock up on the way to the cottage. Castlegregory is also the nearest place with a cash machine. We recommend the cottage highly, and hope to come back at some point in the future.

Kathleen lives next door and was very helpful and not intrusive. The house has its back tight to the hillside and the front has a panoramic view over the large bay. Very quiet all you can hear is nature.
