Driftwood Room is the smaller of two rooms with an adjoining, shared bath. The room is a soothing blue with a little bit of a water view. **NOTE: Please ask about dates - calendar may not be updated**
We’re excited to meet and get to know all of our guests but here are a few guidelines to make your stay and our hosting experience the best it can be:
•You are a welcome guest. As such, please treat our home in a respectful manner by picking up after yourself, not abusing our belongings, and being polite.
•It’s probably best to avoid religious and political discussions unless you’re sure we’re all in agreement.
•This is an all-inclusive home. We won’t tolerate racial or homophobic slurs.
•Abuse of people or animals is not acceptable.
•Let us know what we can do to improve your experience. We want a good review from you and we want to be able to provide you with the same. Any miscommunications should be handled immediately.
Everyone should behave as if they were guests - not as if they're staying in a hotel! We're all about having fun but no raging parties will be permitted. We live here full time and expect guests to respect that. No smoking is permitted in the house.
Rules usually come about because of issues so the most important thing is to be courteous, treat our home in a respectful manner, and avoid issues in the first place! With that said, there are a few basics in place:
•The House. The main living area and the kitchen are open to you but we ask that you not go upstairs or into the garage as these are private areas. If doors - other than the door to your room and the outside doors - are closed, don’t open them. They are either closets or off-limit areas. It should go without saying but…don’t rummage through areas that are not in your rooms! If you need something, just ask and we will try to help you. Also, we will generally be here during your stay and request that you be courteous of us as we will be of you.
•Outside guests. If you have friends or family in the area and would like to invite them over for a drink or to go to the beach, that is usually fine but please inform us of your plans in advance. Overnight guests are not allowed. Strangers picked up in bars are not allowed (not that we think you would do that – just making it clear!).
•Alcohol. We have no issues with alcohol as long as you don’t drink so much that you become destructive, dangerous, or extremely annoying. Anything you damage, you will be responsible for replacing. If we invite you to join us for a glass of wine or a cocktail, we will offer what we’re having, but otherwise, be prepared to provide your own alcoholic beverages.
•Animals. Please don’t feed them or give them treats without asking us first. If they are annoying you, let us know. We would rather avoid issues that get to a point of irritation. If you let the dogs in your room and they chew something, we will not accept responsibility as we do not allow them in the guest rooms.
•Cable TV. You are welcome to watch TV in either the Coral Room or the living room. Any pay per view must be cleared and paid for in advance. The living room TV is available to everyone staying in the house and needs to be agreed upon civilly.

My husband and I are lucky enough to live on beautiful Pensacola Beach, with some extra rooms, so we might as well share and help others experience our lovely island.
Our home is casual and often full of friends and family. And sand. And dog hair. It's a true beach home with an outdoor shower, an open layout, and a laid-back vibe.
We would love to meet visitors from other countries and maybe even those we can exchange visits with!
