This is an "home-sharing" b&b!
A door connects with our apartment (home-sharing) but when it's closed it remains completely separated with its own access door.
The space (25m2) is a unit of a little entrance hall (6m2), a bathroom (4m2) and a large double bedroom with a little kitchen/dining area (15m2) in an old workers building of 1890 with all his original characteristics.
It's a cosy and comfortable mini-apartment.
Please, read below 'NOTE' and 'HOUSE RULES' before you book!
In the entrance hall there is a wardrobe.
In the main room, the little kitchen is equipped with induction hob with 2 fires, a sink, a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee-pot, a boiler and a toaster.
In the cabinets and fridge you will find all what you need (cereals, bread, butter and jam, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee) to prepare a nice breakfast in the same room but we don't provide pastries any more.
The bedroom has a double bed.
On request a travel cot can be made available and on occasions a single sofa-bed can be provided.
It is ideal for a couple or a family with 1 kid.
You will feel like at home and breath the familiarity of a neighbourhood with an old history and new development at the same time.
The access is an independent door from the stairs of the building.
Another door connects with the apartment in which we live ("home-sharing") but when it's closed you stay completely separated.
Interaction with guests
We leave and work just next door, so whatever you'll need we'll be there!
Other things to note
1) Second floor apartment without elevator.
2) Extra charge for check-in after midnight = 20€
3) We have an 8 years old daughter.
You could hear some noise early in the morning (7:00), sorry!
1) Smoking is not allowed in the room.
You can smoke upstairs on the terrace.
2) The kitchen allows only little and basic cooking
3) The neighbour sleeps just behind the bathroom wall.
Special care with shower and flush between 24:00 and 7:00.
Please, don't use it as far as possible.
4) Please, be quiet at night!
If you come back late (after 24:00) remember neighbours are sleeping.
5) Terrace use is not allowed after 24:00.
6) We do recycle!
We would love to continue that throughout your stay.
I'm an architect, my partner Cameron is an artist and printmaker and our little daughter Marta is 6 years old (the photo is little old).
We'll be happy to share our guest space with you.
Originally this area of our apartment was designed for our family so they could have a long stay in peace without sacrificing their own comfort and privacy.
But family is not always here so... here we are!
I am passionate about the details and guests who appreciate them make me really happy.
I love to spoil guests the way I'd like to be spoiled when I travel.
I've been living in Barcelona for 12 years already and I can give good tips to enjoy your stay in this thrilling city.
Besides, I can suggest how discover this unknown and surprising area of Barcelona which belongs to my everyday life: El Poblenou.
So, welcome to our b&b!
