This place was about a mile and half from temple, and it wasn't located in best section of town. The place is a bit small for 5 adults. The last stair on the stairwell caused many in family to wipe out, since the last step is actually 1/2 of a step in width. I tripped myself, and I have small feet. I felt the cleaning charge was a bit excessive since I tend to leave places cleaner that when I arrive. I was also surprised to learn that we had to pay extra to park at the house.

Response from Keith:
Dear Diane, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to review the property and your stay. Naturally I am disappointed whenever I hear feedback that is less than positive. Wherever there are valid issues, I will of course address them. I will address some of the points that you made directly as I think its important that future reviewers have accurate information on which to base their decisions. The house is located in The Liberties, which is one of the oldest and closest neighbourhoods in Dublin to the city center. For the previous 82 guests who rated the location at 4.5 stars, many indicated that they found the area interesting and vibrant and a real indication of a community at the heart of Dublin. According to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps, the house is actual 0.75 miles from Temple Bar, not the one and half miles that you have indicated. The house has a 4.5 star location. With regards to the cleaning fee and the cleanliness, naturally, I am disappointed and will of course mention this to the housekeeper. I know she will be disappointed with your feedback as she has had 4.5 stars out of five on average for all of her previous cleans which means she has a high number of 5 stars. We will check this out. Specifically with regards to the cost of the cleaning the fee includes, the cleaning of the actual house, the removal and cleaning of four sets of bed linen (two double duvets, two single duvets, four flat sheets, 16 pillow cases, six sets of towels (12), bath mats, kitchen towels and the removal and payment for the disposal of all your rubbish (Dublin council charge for each bag). So its easy to see where the cost of 70 euros per clean actually goes. I think its fair to say that you made some assumptions with regards to parking. Nowhere in my listing do I indicate that there is parking nor that there is free on street parking. In the event that parking was important to you then I would have been happy to address this with you and to provide all relevant information on the meter charges, locations of covered parking before you made the booking. Instead, this subject was only raised by yourself two days before arrival. I trust that I have covered the points that you have raised. Kind regards Keith

Great place! Very clean and looks just like the pictures. We were 5 people staying at the cottage and it was more than enough room. We recommend!

The cottage was in a great neighborhood and very quiet and safe area. It is walking distance to the Guiness Factory (a must do tour a couple blocks away). There are coffee shops and little markets around the corner from the home. The city centre is about a 15 min. walk. The buses are very close. The cottage is small but it suited our needs. There were five of us and it was a bit cramped with only one bath but would be great for a smaller group. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend Keith's place for a nice stay.

Keith's place was perfect for our group of 6. It was cozy and we were able to walk most places within 20-30 minutes. Would recommend!

Excellent location particularly for us as is close to Guinness Storehouse and we had a car for which there was ample street parking. Loved the Liberties neighborhood felt like we got a slice of real Dublin life along with slice of five-fruit bar from Catherine's Bakery a couple blocks up. Nice straight shot to St Stephens Green for a mile run and the house had all essentials to prep for Dublin adventures.

Keith's place is awesome. It's a 5min walk to The Guinness Storehouse, and a 10-15min walk to the heart of Dublin's downtown attractions. Communication with Keith was excellent, and instructions easy to understand. We never met Keith, but we did meet Debby. Debby was also wonderful, she went above and beyond. The washing machine had broken down and was being replaced and during the interim Debby picked up and did our washing for us. Many thanks Debby. The local area gave me a real feel for Dublin. Plenty of local pubs, restaurants, churches and takeaways. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
