Superb renovated apartment in the very popular and trendy neighborhood called De Pijp, 5-10 minutes walk to center and all tourist activities.
The apartment has an incredible Roof Terrace, to enjoy a 360 view over the Amsterdam skyline...

The apartment was excellent, exactly as described and a great place to stay in de Pijp. It has everything you want within walking distance. Although we didn't meet the hosts, their friend Bjorn was very helpful getting us settled in. I highly recommend it as a base to explore all…
We were met by Bjorn at the apartment late on Friday night as our flight was delayed- he gave us the key and showed us where everything was. The apartment seemed larger than the pictures and it was better than we'd hoped. The neighbourhood is our favourite in Amsterdam - great b…
The Apartment is in a great location, close to the tram making both the RAI and the city easily accessible. Lots of cafes and places to eat and drink really close as well as supermarkets too. The Apartment itself was spotlessly clean, which is always important, and was well equ…
The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood with good access to nice local bars and restaurants. We stayed in the apartment with 4 persons, but we think it is more suitable for 2 persons. The apartment is tidy and nicely decorated, although it takes 3 stairs to get access. The roof …

Hi FJ, Thanks for your reaction. We will buy an extra mattress for the sofa bed. We have received many people that came with a group of 4 and have left great review about the comfort of the sofa bed and the apartment size. I myself slept on it while my sister was visiting and I always thought it was comfortable. It's always a matter of taste when it comes to beds, some people like it thougher or smoother than others. In the future I'll make sure to give people the option to have an extra mattress. See you soon!
We had two surprises when we arrived at the apartment. First, it was quite small (about 48 sq m). The listing had said "two floors of living space," and knowing the usual size of Amsterdam apartments with two floors, we expected some space. However, one "floor" (really, the landi…

Hi Guys! Again we want to apologize for the unconvenience caused by the washing machine. The old guests had left the same day you arrived so it was impossible to verify the machine in between check ins. We tried to handle it the best and the fastest we could and obviously it's never a matter of a one day thing when it comes to this type of machine. Because of the size of the machine and the weight we couldnt get it out of the apartment as fast we were hoping to. We did give you different options and alternatives while you were out of washing machine, all free of charge and hassle, I even offered to pick it up everyday and clean it home if you need until the machine gets fixed. Regarding the size of the apartment, the description I used is verify similar to the description that was used by the agent to sell the house. Sorry if you think it was misleading but the pictures don't fake anything and we are not trying to oversell the place. We think it's a super cute apartment and it's a rare find in Amsterdam. It does have two floors but one floor is mainly entrance space, then you come up to the entire living area. The pictures describe the apartment very well and you can very well see the kitchen opens on the living room, which we think is very cool and quite modern. It's a matter of taste, we never liked closed kitchens. The extra bed though is not a futon as you are describing. It's a full on sofa that turns into a 160cm double bed (Queen Size), it's raised up from the floor. I'm not sure what you saw that was a "futon" but thats not what we make our guests sleep on. The space is definitely suitable for 4 people and I made sure not to have too many furniture to have a airy apartment. We have been living in the apartment as a couple, often receiving friends, and recently moved out because we are expecting a baby, so we can ourselves confirm that it's more than comfortable for 2 and 4. We tried our best to respond to your demands the best we could but it felt like we could never make you happy about our place, which is a real shame. In the end, you wanted to stay an extra month so I doubt the apartment is as bad as you're describing... Good luck in London and see you sometime in Amsterdam!
I have lived between London, Amsterdam and Paris for a few years now. I'm from Paris. I love good food, hanging out with friends and boating around the canals during the summer.
