Neighbourhood highlights

We love our eclectic and diverse neighborhood. Garfield has many art galleries and installations, restaurants, and businesses. It's an area that has seen much revitalization recently, but there are still buildings that are boarded up on our block. We feel that the neighborhood is a great asset to our location, but realize it might not be for everyone.

My name is Kate and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. My husband Nik and I work and manage our Airbnb units in our 1910 mixed-use apartment building. Nik is a web developer, I'm an artist, and we're both Airbnb super hosts and property managers. We'd love to have you stay in one of our colorful apartments!! We also enjoy staying in Airbnbs when we do our own traveling. Our favorite things: estate sales, hosting potlucks, dark chocolate, road trips, interior design, playing cribbage, exploring small towns, rocking our 1950's record player, home renovation/restoration, and of course our baby daughter. We take breakfast very seriously—both making it and enjoying local cafe and diner fare. Some of our favorite places to visit: Biarritz, Maui, Orcas Island, Asheville, Key West, NYC, Portland, and so many more. We also really love California (especially Sonoma) ... our honeymoon was a road trip down the 1 paired with a coastal train ride. It was incredible! Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or just want to say hello.
