The location for Lucas's place was perfect. Right in old-town, close to walking area and lots of restaurants. In terms of convenience it was perfect. Just a minor note that although the listing states that the apartment has a shower, it is really just a tub with a hand nozzle. Lucas was prompt with communication and check-in and check-out was simple. I would recommend this place to other visiting Salzburg that would like to be in the center of Old Town.

Very good location and quiet flat. Communication before and upon arrival was smooth, no issues with check-in and check-out. Lucas's dad gave us many tips about restaurants and cafes and also provided us a citymap.

It was a privilege to stay in this historic apartment. Great location - walkable from everywhere that you need in the city centre and right next to some great shops and restaurants. Lucas was also great for communication, check in and advice. The only words of warning are that it is a long way from the car park (€18 per day) and up a steep hill and steps - something to bear in mind if you have a lot of luggage / small children / mobility issues. For us though, travelling with a 2 and 4 year old it was worth it.

We couldn't believe how amazing Lucas' Place was! It was too good to be true. The photos seriously do not do it justice. The apartment is on the bottom of a huge hill, with a small hill to get to it. Helena met us there as soon as we came and showed us the amazing place. It's so charming and homey, but if you're over 6 feet tall, you may have to get used to ducking so you don't hit your head on doorways. Our friend learned that the hard way. The location is seriously amazing too. You're a 5 minute walk from Mirabel Gardens and a bus stop, and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. There are shops and restaurants all over the apartment area. You're literally right next door to a gummy bear store. If you keep going up the stairs and on up the hill, you can hike to an incredibly scenic peak with an amazing view of Hohensalzburg. There's also a restaurant in a chateau dedicated to St. Francis Assisi at the end of the hike, but it closes kind of early. Here were my only negatives (which are completely out of the host's control). The noise directly outside of the apartment was very easy to hear. We had to keep the windows open to stay cool, and the bedroom facing the front of the apartment is wide open to all people and cars coming up the hill. At about 6 each morning, a garbage truck of some sort would barrel down the hill and the men would shout at each other loudly. At midnight, everyone coming up from the shops would talk really loud and it's right outside your window. So bring earplugs! The other thing was the washer/dryer. Lucas was nice enough to send us some detergent, but as soon as it arrived, another guest staying in the building went ahead and started a load and then left it in there all day. Once they finally decided to come get their clothes, we were up doing our one load of laundry until midnight. Moral of the story: try and get your laundry done as soon as possible and be courteous to other guests by setting a timer for yourself to collect it in a timely manner. Overall though, I'm so glad we stayed at this apartment and we would be happy to stay again if we return to Salzburg!

Strongly recommend Lucas's apartment to all of you. Amazing apartment dated back to Middle Ages. But the facilities are in very good conditions. All necessities are prepared. But if you want to do some cookings, you'd better to buy some ingredients. Before we arrived, Lucas's father called us and we met in the apartment together at the same time. He shared with us some discounts for Mozart concert, showed us the city map and gave us some useful tips. Thanks so much. The location is wonderful, close to the city center, and most of the scenic spots are in walking distance. Located in the foot of a hill, the air is fresh, and the neighborhood could be very quiet if there is no people outside your window, talking in the midnight. I think the transportation to Lucas's apartment is much more convenient than expected. Just tell your taxi driver the address, and you just need to walk for 5 minutes to get there. But your luggages need to be taken good care of to go up to the apartment. There are a number of restaurants, supermarket and post office nearby. Full of tourists. So you can get nearly everything in this area. Our trip in Salzburg is wonderful with the apartment. But we hope to have more interactions with Lucas, especially during the pre-accommodation.

Excellent communication, well kept and clean.WIFI worked central location and can walk to everything. 7 min bus ride to main train station. Lucas and his father were very responsive even dropping off some extra dish washing tabs. Check in faultless, highly recommended. Would stay again.
