Tourist travel info
You will be able to book any tours you might want with us, feel free to contact us with your wishes we also take care of your needs regarding car rentals and if you want to rent. All the tourist info regarding what is happening in Reykjavik and around Iceland along with tours, such as hiking and or whale watching is called Iceland-online dot is, its a family operated you will be guided through all the interesting places and must see events while you stay with us. please do not hesitate to ask us through that site (Info) what ever your interest might be.
Some Practical info:
Blue Lagoon is very popular with tourists and has become like a must to do along with the Golden circle. We recommend planning your visit ahead and book the blue lagoon in advance due to increased popularity and limited room for guests which is in expansion I do though recommend the thermal swimming pool comparatively more, not least as their entrance fee is like 10 times less and also a better way to meet the locals. The one closest to my home around 7 minutes walking,
Visiting the blue lagoon coming or going from airport
a) From the airport (coming) do; the airport – Blue lagoon – Reykjavik first tour around 9 am.
b) From Reykjavik (leaving) to the airport that is leaving back home, via Blue Lagoon only though if your flight is in the afternoon (leaving the Blue Lagoon at 12.30 or 14.00 to the airport). Best to book in advance as stated before
Never buy water in Iceland weather in shops or restaurants, the water from the tab is the best in the world and repeatedly chosen the best tasting and purest water in the world. So if you want it bottled bottle it at home before you go :) breakfast is included but it is help your self to whatever you want in the fridge :) You also have room for your own groceries in the fridge.
On a side note we, Icelanders were just voted the most peaceful nation in the world...again not bad

Really wonderful stay in a well equipped apartment. Gisli has everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. Breakfest included. We also used Gislis' towels when we went to the near by (the biggest in Reykjavik!) thermal pools. There are two ways to get to downtown: by the canal - a wonderful promenade, or on a straight street, where you end up on the main shopping street of Reykjavik. (Or you can also take the bus, but we never did). Wonderful jokes and a positive atmosphere during the whole stay! :)

Gisli made us feel welcome in his home, and was most helpful without being intrusive. The location is also very convenient for excursion/airport pickups from the nearby Grand Hotel. We had a great 3 night stay!

Gisli was a terrific host who went above and beyond the call of duty. He was kind enough to both drive me to the market the first night to pick up snacks for the week, as well as arrange a taxi to pick me up when I needed to return to the airport. I always felt welcomed and comfortable in his home.

A great location, a reasonable price, and a very helpful host. Couldn't have asked for a better stay :) Gisli's place is just a 10-15 minute walk into the city center. With a good pickup location at Grand Hotel right next door, it was easy to plan transportation to and from the BNB. Would definitely recommend!

Gisli is a great host, very welcoming and always willing to assist. I would recommend his house to anyone visiting Reykjavik. Location is very close to restaurants, public pool, and transportation. Thanks for all your help and recommendations, and for making our stay a truly Icelandic experience.

Gisli is definitely a wonderful host, and have a beautiful house to spend time. He has everything you would need when you are away from home, that esp. makes you feel like at home. And esp. the great sense of humor which makes the place more lively. From the very beginning we felt like we are still at our home. And the thing you asked us to perform on our arrival to pin our location on that big world map on the entrance wall was an awesome idea. Thank you Gisli for those lovely moments, sharing great local tips, cuisines and of course sharing time on my birthday:) One would not go away without carrying great memories of the beautiful country along with such nice peoples.
