This is a companion unit to my Airbnb 3 bedroom 2 bath house and this is a full kitchen bathroom bedroom studio with a couryard farther away from the house than neighbors are to each other (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) feet to top ten beach in the US, wind n sea. (not a garage-errot info by competitor airbnb home next door- to put us down) -Polar opposite review when a person focuses on small items means the person didnt enjoy themselves not the unit or area which is called the gem. Cheap great grandma-Nasty attitude "nothings good enough" so lets nit pick any nuance, 1 star budget wanting 5 star (curtains?) Paid under $99 special discount booking calls it overpriced for average $250-$500 night area) wanting everything including getting in two hours early which is fine when we have it, but also a nag on a penny pinching budget for under 99 night where motel 11 houses away is 179 for less space and no fridge but she could not afford that, still never happy in 500 night area of top Ten Beach in LA Jolla wind n sea beach barber tract she did not rent the 3 bedroom house next door with driveway parking but went for the studio but then did nt want a fridge in a studio or access as the studio sits in the quiet garden area behind the palms, you can use a sidewalk or a driveway either way it is in the back and private and preferred for peace and writing and resting than most homes on the street. What kind of entrance do homes have? no squeezing by just an access not sure whats up with all the whining.

Remodeled Beach companion units/granny flat converted (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) to (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , original Conversion to Granny Flat in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) with granite counters, marble floors and not a garage nor ever used for one its a companion unit. per request of La Jolla Playhouse as owner was the editor to La jolla light paper and it is not a garage. Pretty nice Studio for 1/2 the price of a motel , definitely walk to beach distance (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) feet, 10 minutes that my 85 year old neighbor across the street walks every day and so do I at 58. I have blinds and curtains and the blinds are reverse so non one can see in from the outside although you can see out.
I added curtains for those that want to sleep in or dont understand blinds, so you can win! some want them this one first complaint for a curtain (Not linen) There is an easement as many beach homes have double lots on our street so can have two units built out and no one much has a driveway except on our street, the driveway is full of plants and has parking for both units depending on who books the properties, I have a house 3 bed 2bath and the companion guest house on a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sq foot lot one of the rare houses on the first blocks from wind n sea beach that actually still have yards, courtyards or even a driveway on the lot. Why would someone take the studio over the house and complain the property has a driveway and not to mention tons of plants and how can you see in the back, its a misperception looking out, she was not looking in! I used to sugar coat my reviews, but when someone microfocuses on tearing you up when you gave them a 1.7 mil beach home and let them take the studio so they could save a buck then wont shut up you got to wonder if they were arguing as they were not nice to anyone around them. They may not understand what a beach city means, that restaurants, families, parks and the beach you walk to in just houses and there are no 10,000 sq foot lots although ours is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) for house and companion unit. I rarely have a complaint because I do have the best price for a stand alone unit on a lot that is quiet this close to restaurants, 11 houses, 3 houses to the park, 5 houses to olympic pool, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) feet, 26 houses/units to the most beautiful beach. Beach front not available or is around $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) a night not 99. If it was a clean issue we could improve but a curtain and tight tub handle could be alleviated but probably normal to any home and of course a fridge in a studio is what it is. but doesnt keep me up or any one else in hundreds of reviews one 5 websites over 18 years, never was that or this posted. Good luck with your budget as we have the sweet deal it is if you look around you. And we aim to please but complainers are really never happy and looking for the bad when they are not happy.
Forgive I have curtains and blinds... and a fridge. and you have no condo neighbors or stairs and its flat to get to the door and parking is in 50 feet away. Yes the homes in La Jolla many are historic as these beach homes were built for the homes on the hill to be by the beach fun and shops and restaurants in the 20s. This street has many orginal remodeled homes and some brand new tear downs like one across the street but not available to guests as it sold for 3.2 mil and mine is 1.7 mil historic spanish casa with charm and a nuance here and there, please acccept and love those items as is for its not a track home but one full of character, charm, hard working families of generations and love. (ps the city does charge motel hotel tax on vacation rentals of 11% and airbnb follows those laws)
