Freshly remodeled and full of Santa Fe charm this secluded adobe casita with two sleeping areas and efficiency kitchen captures the feel of the Southwest with soaring vigas and skylights but offers convenience to the Plaza and Railyard.

The space

This sweet and secluded casita has wood grain ceramic tile floors, soaring vigas, skylights and a charming shared garden to relax and enjoy the beauty of Santa Fe. There are two sleeping areas with two queen beds separated by a door for extra privacy each with ultra comfy mattresses- one is a extra plush pillow top and the other is a SleepNumber- take your pick for a sweet nights rest! There is a dining table, a full size sofa and TV with basic cable as well.

Note: Santa Fe is at 7000 feet elevation. Summers are cooler than most cities and the dry air and late season monsoons keep our city wonderfully temperate. Homes in Santa Fe generally do not have air conditioning as it is only needed occasionally and only for an hour or two. If you are accustomed to constant refrigerated air, we suggest that a local hotel may be a better choice for your visit.

Guest access

Located behind the main home, this 800 sq ft guesthouse shares a sweet and serene garden with firepits, lounge chairs and dining areas- please feel free to enjoy the shared outdoor space and basque in the beauty and light that Santa Fe is so famous for!

Interaction with guests

We may not always be there to greet you when you arrive, but we look forward to meeting you and hearing all about your adventures! Suzanne and Ceci co-host this property. Best friends for over 25 years, with many of those years spent working in hospitality, we are at your service via phone or messaging if you need us :)

Other things to note

Ideal for a short visit or a longer stay in the City Different, you are sure to feel at home in this quiet serene casita. Ceci travels considerably for work, so sometimes she may not be there to greet you but I am easily available should you need anything during your stay. - Suzanne

Lovely, pretty and peaceful casita. The perfect place to stay whilst visiting Santa Fe as close to town. Very clean and comfy beds. Nice outdoor area.

Ceci was a great host and very quick to respond to texts or Airbnb messages. The casita is as pictured with two very comfortable beds and as the other reviews stated very clean.

Ceci was the perfect host. The guest house on the other end of her gravel and lavender terrace is bright and light and clean and very comfy. I had more than enough privacy but she was also around to talk and help any time I needed. Our dogs got on great. Perfect retreat.

Great location, spacious unit, and very comfortable. Walking distance to old town and some great places nearby, definitely check out Rowley Farmhouse Ales and La Choza.

The Casita is a charming Santa Fe style inspired home. The home was perfect for the 3 of us, plenty of space for us to spread out and have time to ourselves, as well as very cozy. This is a great place to have your privacy, there was a couple staying in the main house, we did not even know they were home. The outdoor patio was perfect to relax, light the fire pit, and enjoy some wine. The Casita is about 1.5 miles from the Plaza, which if you wanted the hike you could do it, but it is only a $5-$7 Uber/Lyft ride from the front door to the Plaza. This was ok, as we did not have to deal with parking, and could enjoy drinks without the worry of getting home. Ceci and Suzanne were great to communicate with and check in was easy.

We enjoyed our stay in the casita very much. The casita is more spacious than it seems in the photos. It is built in the Santa Fe style with high ceilings and skylights. There is a beautiful gravel courtyard with an apple tree and fire pits between the casita and the home on the property. We made a nice fire on the one cool night of our stay. The rooms are nicely appointed with very comfortable beds, extra linens, etc. The kitchen and bathroom are small but also well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the city center. It was perfect for me and my two kids (10 & 12). Ceci and Suzanne are very professional and responsive hosts.
