Carna Conservation Initiative is a new not for profit social enterprise formed to ecologically restore the Isle of Carna whilst providing educational and community benefit and supporting the local economy. The island has been owned by the Milward Towers Families since 1881. Andy Jackson and his wife Allison will be looking after you when you come and stay on Carna and are very relaxed and friendly often making great friends with repeat visitors over the years but also know when to leave you to enjoy the island by yourself. They are passionate about conserving and enhancing nature on the island and the surrounding area and will be excited to introduce you to this special part of the world and teach you what they know about responsible wildlife watching and conservation. They run their own local business, Ardnamurchan Marine Centre, doing whale, otter, seal, shark and bird watching boat trips in the area from their base at Laga bay.
