Beautiful and unique well-appointed home that sleeps 7. Only 10 minutes from Lutsen ski slopes, right next to Tofte Park and boat launch, and walking distance to convenience/grocery stores and two restaurants. The property is large, very private, with gorgeous trees, and has 200 feet of (direct access) ledge rock shoreline to enjoy. Large deck, screened-in gazebo, and brand new sauna! The home boasts a wonderful kitchen and dining room area, great views from many rooms, and updated bathrooms.

The space
There are 2-4 bedrooms, depending on how you count and how much privacy you need. Each side of the house has a large "front" bedroom with king-sized bed and large closet. Behind each of these is another attached bedroom (separated by just a curtain); these "back" bedrooms each have a daybed and trundle. You must pass through the front bedrooms to get to the back bedrooms. The house very comfortably fits and sleeps seven guests, but is best for either larger groups not requiring as much privacy from one another, or for two families or two couples (who can occupy rooms on different sides of the house).

The house also has two bathrooms (neither of which are ensuite/attached to the bedrooms). The bathroom closest to the master bedroom side (the side with the view of the lake) contains large vanity, toilet, and large bathtub with hand-held shower attachment. The other bathroom (newly renovated in ’23) contains vanity, toilet, and standup shower (this shower area has a separate door that opens to the hallway, so other guests can use it without going through the bathroom area).

Beyond these rooms, the house also has a wonderful kitchen and dining area (easily accommodating 8), an inviting living room with two separate seating areas, a laundry room, a pantry area with bar, extra fridge and freezer, and great views from many rooms!

The house is right on the Gitchi Gami trail (which you can walk/bike on directly to Temperance State Park) and next to Tofte Park and its boat launch, yet off of (parallel to) Hwy 61, which cuts down on traffic and noise. You are also walking distance from a convenience store, the Tofte grocery store, and two good restaurants at Bluefin Bay resort. The property is private, with gorgeous trees, shrubs, and flowers, and 200 feet of your own Lake Superior ledge rock shoreline to enjoy, directly or from the large deck or screened-in gazebo (there is even a view of the lake from the brand new sauna!). The home is our vacation home, so it is very well appointed with everything you might need for indoor and outdoor fun.
