It is easy to see why Florence is a super-host. Every little detail was taken care of (including laundry detergent); she even helped us get a taxi for our trip to the airport on the last day. Her restaurant recommendations were spot-on (go to l'Apibo!). We also enjoyed the wine she left for us--what a great introduction to Paris! The apartment is in a great location as far as walking goes: walk to the river, to major sights, and easy metro and RER (train) access. There's one block near the apartment that is slightly sketchy, but it's clearly on its way out. This is more than made up for by the rest of the neighborhood--especially rue Morntorgueil, which is a two blocks away and is packed with cafes, brasseries, patisseries, wine shops, fromageries, fruiterers, fishmonger, etc., etc. Across the main drag is rue Tinqueton, which has little eateries, etc., also. Paris is a great walking city and this neighborhood has plenty of ways to experience Paris on foot. Beds are comfy, there were plenty of towels, water pressure in the shower is good, and the kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher. Living room is spacious and decorated with an artist's flair. We were there for a week and did not have to run out to get anything to support our stay (3 people)--which is a bit unusual for Airbnb. We highly recommend Florence's place and it will be our first choice for a return trip.

Response from Florence:
Thank you Andrea for such a detailed and accurate description; my main objective - and my joy - is to make my guests comfortable and happy, with a 'real home' experience (not just a rental), so your feedback makes my joy complete ;-) it was a pleasure to have you and I hope you will return! All the best, Florence

Four of us just passed a delightful week in Florence’s Paris apartment. The photos are accurate in revealing the eclectic charm of this well-located, immaculate flat. Each small bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is typically Parisian-style tiny; not a problem as we were not there to cook fancy dinners. But it is the very large living area that steals the show here. Huge windows let in lots of air and light, the piano gleams, and Florence has decorated the space with numerous books and interesting treasures from her travels. The furniture is comfortable and set up for conversation. I don’t think many Paris apartments offer this kind of living space for four adults. We encountered a few unexpected, very hot days, but with the huge windows and cross ventilation, that wasn't a problem either. It is easy walking to many interesting neighborhoods and classic Paris sights and the area is full of restaurants. We would recommend this apartment and would come back if we spend another week in Paris.

We loved our time staying here. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures - beautiful space, quiet street, and close to everything. Our experience was fantastic, from check-in all the way through our stay. Florence made sure we had everything we needed and was available for questions we had. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Paris!

This apartment in central Paris is absolutely amazing! Florence is a gracious host offering excellent communication prior to and upon our arrival. The photos don't do it (URL HIDDEN) is a stunning apartment with amazing character...very French. It is located in the perfect area to use as a home base while visiting Paris. Hidden behind a coded gate and door, we felt extremely safe in the heart of bustling Paris. A lovely welcome bottle of wine was waiting for us when we arrived and Florence arranged to have a driver take us to CDG ( he was excellent and prompt) when we departed. Don't hesitate to (URL HIDDEN) of the nicest Airbnbs we have ever stayed in while traveling. Thank you Florence! Linda and I loved our private concert:)

This was a truly marvellous experience in Paris. The host stayed up until 23.00 as our plane had a serious delay and we felt very welcome from the very beginning. We liked the historic feeling of this great apartment and it was very quiet although situated in the middle of Paris. A nice neighbourhood and easy walking distance to most of the monuments of Paris complemented our excellent experience. And the host was always available when needed until the end of the stay.

Fabulous location, beautiful historic building and lovely decore. Florence was delightful and allowed me the use of her grand piano. Much appreciated and also refreshing to stay somewhere with attention to art, music and design.
