The apartment is amazing located just a few steps from the semi-private beach. Goran's mother was an amazing host and we had everything that we needed. We would go back there again anytime!

We've had a wonderful time in Gordon's apartment. We've stayed 5 nights. The apartment is just like the pictures, very clean, modern, comfortable and very well equipped. It really was above our expectations. We were welcomed by his mom(?) and his son who spoke English and translated for us. During our holiday we were well taken care of we even got grapes straight out of the garden. :) The beach is right down the stairs. Only locals and a view tourists from the apartment go there. So a very quiet, clean and clear beach which we very much enjoyed. We didn't went anywhere else to go for a swim. Dubrovnik is a very nice city, but in the high season.. mass tourism. We were very glad that we had chosen an apartment right out of the city. We went by car so it was easy for us to go anywhere we liked. But there's also public transport, the bus stop is close to the apartment. Some recommendations: Walking the city walls of Dubrovnik. it's open till 7pm and we advice you to go around 5 or 6pm. Walking, driving or by cablecar to the top of mountain Srd. Breathtaking views over the city, elaphite islands. We've watched the sunset over there. Very nice! Walk around on the top of the mountain, besides the viewingpoint where the restaurant is there are more beautiful spots behind the restaurant. If you want to know more about the war, there is also a nice museum up there. If you would like to walk to the top, there is a somewhat hidden pathway starting straight next to a busy street. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it. (To hard for me to explain here, haha) Excursion with outdoorcroatia. Rent a boat or go by ferry to go to the islands or hidden beaches. There's many more, but go explore yourself and book this apartment. Well worth it!

We had a great holiday in Gordan's appartment. The appartment is nice and you have a perfect view of the sea. The beach is beautiful and rather quiet. Gordan's mum was very friendly and was perfect host. She gave us grapes and figs. Gordan answered every question really fast. The only negative thing is that there is a lot of traffic on the main road. So it's loud if you sleep with open windows (which is not necessary due to good air condition).

What a treat for my husband and I, Thank you Gordan and especially your mother for welcoming us to your place! It was a great retreat to come back from traveling and visiting Dubrovnik where it was already filled with loads of tourists and we were in the shoulder season. I know that had I stayed in the old town, my experience would be totally different. I would have been aggravated with all of the people crushing in daily (cruise ships were docked everyday and up to 6 on Saturday!) as well as being extremely hot because of the lack of air circulation. The apartment was breezy and very pleasant to be there during the night and day. They also have an air conditioner if you needed it - we used it at night when we shut the windows. The view is incredible and you have everything that a home would have to make yourself comfortable. The beach is literally right down the steps so you could go back and forth if you were there all day and wanted to eat lunch on the beach. Personally I would highly recommend to rent a car for the time you are there. Besides the convenience of going to the grocery store, going out to eat at night, and visiting other towns but also that it is too far to walk (not to mention that there is no sidewalk and you are walking on a two lane road with cars driving very fast beside you). It's about a 15 minute drive to get into the Old Town of Dubrovnik and park. As far as parking your car at the apartment, there steep incline on the driveway, you drive directly from the highway onto the driveway that goes straight down. It may be a little intimidating to those that haven't tried it before. That being said, I saw that all of these houses with the great views were made exactly the same way (how else to you get the unobstructed beauty? It's totally worth it!) All of the pictures are accurate and the apartment is very clean. I would love to come back soon (as my husband turned to me and said the last morning "I don't want to go home!" I agreed but work calls so we'll just have to plan our next trip!

The apartment was very nice with a magnificent view on the Adria. Furthermore it offers a small beach with is very nice and hardly visited so that you can enjoy more or less alone. It is well equipped and offers all you need. As it is newly renovated and furnished everything is state of the art and very nice. Driving (by car) to DBK takes just 10 - 15 mins, so that you can easily get there every day.
