Our host made us feel very welcome by offering us refreshing lemonade and watermelon on a very hot day. Also she helped us with our bags from the parking lot. The room was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The patio in front was a nice place to relax. We wish we had been there in the spring to smell the lemon blossoms! It was easy to get to the old city of Dubrovnik on the bus lines.

Stijepo organized the communication with Nena who is the actual host. She was super friendly and very nice and welcoming. The apartment is clean and tidy. The terrace is to be shared by up to three apartments what was not clear to us since we arrived. Location wise the apartment is perfect if you do not mind walking about 20/25 min to the old town. As we really enjoyed the nice stroll and Dubrovnik itself I can recommend to stay here.

We had a very nice experience with Nena. The room was clean and air conditioned and very nice. The patio balcony is lovely and she was a very nice host. She picked us up from the airport go 35euro and presented us with a delicious cake, lemonade and beer. She had great advice on places to go. We stayed somewhere else later and concurred with we would have preferred staying the whole one at her home instead. Great location, great people. Very recommended!

I write this review with mixed emotions. First & foremost the Listing Description of the Double Room is not accurate & it is misleading. The room I rented is NOT 500 meters from Onofrio's fountain nor is there a 'well equipped' kitchen available even though pictures of the rental show a large kitchen & dining room. The room is actually located in 'Gruz' which is a 15 minute bus ride to the Old City and the kitchen is a closet size room with a small fridge, a sink & a double burner. As well the Wireless Internet was spotty at best, working only on the terrace & not in the room. With that said, we were met at the property by Nena who when I questioned the misleading description/pictures, proceeded to tell me she does not handle the property rental directly and it is Stijepo & his company that do so. The booking & communication is all done with him which explains why she did not know we had a car that required the parking spot (there is one available not too far from the property). Of all the places I booked with Airbnb on my 2 wk vacation in Croatia, this is the only place the property was not accurate and what is advertised. As for the positives, Nena was a great host, greeting me with lemonade & beer upon my arrival, she gave me a couple of great restaurant recommendations & gave me a bottle of homemade wine to take home. The room and bathroom were extremely clean & the terrace a wonderful place to have your morning coffee.

Hi, I'm Stijepo & Family :) Welcome!

I graduated at Faculty of Economics in Tourism in Dubrovnik.
Last winter I took the course for Office Manager in Tourist Agency and now I am working in one of the leading Agencies in Croatia.
What really makes me happy is to work with my family and friends during the season as we all love meeting new people and working in tourism.
We are doing our best to make our guests feel welcome and have a pleasant stay at our accommodation. There will always be someone to help out with your requests. We are stand by on the mail, phone and there is someone to welcome you on your arrival to show you arround, give the keys and introduces you to Town and it's attractions.
We are in Tourism for a long time now and we learned a lot along the way. Every time with every new guest it is new experience and we are giving the best we can so guest feels like home.
USEFUL TIPS:
From experience the best would be to do like this : If you decide to book , please let me know if you are arriving with a car , bus or from airport so that I can send you directions to the apartment in details, also it would be good, if you book the accommodation , that you send me your email address so that I could send you a map with marked location and coordinates .
If you are coming prior to the check in time let me know so that I can be ready and that I can help you with luggage until the apartment is prepared or that I arrange the cleaning lady earlier ( if the guests before you leave before theirs check out time ) and prepare the apartment earlier for you .
I encourage you to ask anything that you would like to know before you make booking .
On the arrival I or one of my dear family members will wait for you, help you to settle in and provide you maps of local area and some useful advises .
I am always available to come if you need my assistance and via cell phone and email and my family members as well .
For sure, since I also travel, I must mention that it is good to explore little bit on your own about the area you are visiting ( as lots of people were surprised that there are stairs in Dubrovnik, and they did not checked the fact that Dubrovnik is built under a hill :) )
We very much respect guests privacy and of course the guests need to respect some house rules like in hotel .
Thank you for your time to read this and hope to be able to welcome you in one of mine or my familie accommodation units.

Best regards,
Stijepo and Family
