We loved our stay at Donna's house as it was conveniently located to where we needed to be and her house is very clean and comfortable. We had some last minute changes to our plan but Donna accommodated our changes with a problem. Donna even prepared some breakfast essentials for us in the fridge. Her house is close to Rt 20, so you will hear the vehicles on the street but they are few and far in between especially at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We loved out stay at this great house. The owners are very nice and sweet. We met Scott. They had a lot of extras in the fridge and kitchen which we did not expect and were pleasantly surprised. In fact the entire house had a lot of extras...shampoo, soap, body wash, ample toilet paper, kitchen towels, blankets! Lots of them. Overall great hosts. The house is old but in vrat condition. Toilets and kitchen are modern. There's a little swing in the back of the house. Would definitely recommend and stay again :)

Donna and her husband were very nice and communicative. They answered all our questions soon after we emailed them, which was awesome. The house is really cute and there is beautiful nature nearby. The cemetery at the top of the hill and the keystone arches trail were both really pretty.

This beautiful, 19th century abode comfortably housed our group of six, who had been looking for a bit of seclusion and nature for our Labor Day weekend excursion. We found it, in a hub for home-cooked meals a short drive away from forests, keystone arches, handsome hiking trails and refreshing waterfalls. There's a charming swing in the backyard, and plenty of places to curl up with a book. Great location, helpful hosts, great value. Recommended!

Lovely home in a convenient location with an interesting history! The hosts made sure the home was well-provisioned and were gracious with their hospitality. We were very happy with our stay! Would happily stay again in this reasonably priced accommodation.

Great place to stay! Donna & Scott were very accommodating. I live in the area and I had family coming from a distance. There was no way they could have fit in my apartment so we rented Donna & Scott's entire house for just over a week from July 1 through July 10. My family was coming in on a late night flight so Donna and Scott met with me a day early to give me the keys to the house so it would be in order for my family the moment they arrived. Throughout the week both Donna and Scott checked in with us either via texting or stopping by (but never unannounced). Since our stay was so long they offered to freshen up the bedding and towels from time to time as well as take out the trash and recycling. At one point a fire alarm started chirping because the battery was low. I texted Donna right away and very soon after Scott stopped by to change out the battery while we were away to see fireworks. We came back to a peaceful house again! At one point Scott stopped in and met the family and told us the fascinating history of the house. They were great hosts! The house is a beautiful old home that Donna and Scott put lots of time in fixing up. They kept most, if not all of the original architecture and design. Between my family and my wife and I, there were 5 adults in the house. We did some of our cooking there and spent lots of time playing games and just hanging out at the house. There are three bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom had two twin beds and the other two had fulls. In keeping with the style of the house the bed frames were antique. The bed my wife and I slept in was a little short for me so I would sometimes hit the foot board while laying in bed. There is no air conditioning in the house but there is window fans in the rooms and they typically kept the rooms cool. There were a few nights that it was a little hot, but nothing we could not manage. Most of the nights were cool and one that was even kind of cold! Overall it was a great stay and the house was perfect for what we used it for. If you are looking for a house in the hill towns that is easily accessible from Rt 20 then this is the perfect place for you to stay. If we have more family come we will definitely check this house out again. Enjoy your stay.
