Special price in August, November, January and February!

Very charming apartment in an excellent location in Via del Governo Vecchio a famed little street in the very heart of Rome, just steps away from Piazza Navona. It’s ZTL (Traffic Limited Zone) and it’s very quiet and safe even in the small hours of the night, and within walking distance (15 minutes radius) of the most important historical sights in the city centre. You won’t need any bus transit or taxi: you will love to discover the real life of the city by simply strolling around the neighbourhood.

GOLD SUITE offers a unique, intimate atmosphere, with its old wooden furniture and artful décor. The living room area on the ground floor features a kitchenette with a breakfast corner where you can start your day with your own freshly brewed espresso a wardrobe, a double sofa-bed, and a bathroom with shower. On the mezzanine you’ll find a bedroom with a queen size bed.
The apartment is at ground floor.

One of the finest Baroque Masterpieces in the Popes’ Rome, Piazza Navona displays the work of competing architecture geniuses, Bernini and Borromini. The charm of its harmony and colours is only enhanced by the surprising contrast between the grandeur of the monuments and churches and the more discreet elegance of the private buildings.

Just walk across the River Tiber and you’ll find St. Peter’s Cathedral, the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo and Trastevere, one of the liveliest and most genuinely Roman neighbourhoods. At the same distance (about 300 meters) in the opposite direction, you can reach Campo de’ Fiori, where local residents go shopping for groceries in the traditional open market. With its bars, cafes, restaurants, pizzerias, shops and pubs, the area is one of the hot evening meeting points in town, and during the day it’s the perfect place for window-shopping or simply sitting at a coffee table and watching the colourful people walking by or enjoying the performances of street artists. Still more of the wonders of the Eternal City -- including the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum and the Coliseum -- are also within walking distance.

We absolutely loved staying at Ale's place in Rome. The location was spot on, we walked everywhere, there are some very cool bars close by, and of course, Piazza Navona, which was spectacular. The apartment is extremely clean, very small and cosy and has various places to relax and chill out. The only problem we had was with the shower - it only included a side curtain which unfortunately did not stop the water from flowing over to the floor! I suppose I am not used to Italian showers though! Other than that, I would highly recommend this apartment!

We tried to book this apartment, but it was already booked for the time we were going to be in Rome. We ended up staying in one of Ale's other apartments ( instead on the same booking. With that in mind, I'll review the Platinum Apartment here: The apartment was fantastic - everything you could need and in an amazing location, with a supermarket and many restaurants on the same street and Piazza Navona just around the corner. It is easy to get to from Fiumicino Airport - we took a shuttle bus (6€) to near the Vatican and then walked about 5-10 mins from there. The apartment doesn't have air conditioning, but you really don't need it. It is in an old building and doesn't get hot enough to warrant it.. there are plenty of fans to keep the air circulating anyway. Lovely apartment, would definitely visit again.

Small flat really in a good location! We've been at Ale's flat and the expierence has been really good. The flat maybe is a little bit small for four people but in our case just for one night it has been perfect. The location is the best, at just few meters from Piazza Navona. Really clean and very confortable. I will definetely come back to Ale's flat on my next trip to Rome.

Pro: Great location near outstanding restaurants and tourist sites, good value given base price. Cons: -Numerous add-on fees (read house rules) leaves bad taste in mouth, metallic from nickel and diming. -Bathroom leaks slowly, leaving floor wet at most times with lingering perfume of sewage as a result - see same complaint from past guest Sept 2016. Overall, clearly run as a business meant to maximize profits (fees) and cut costs (amenities, repairs), and thereby lacking the humanity underlining most AirBNB experiences. Would recommend if competitive against nearby alternatives at the time of booking.

This apartment is great for two people wanting to see the sights in Rome. It's central location allowed us to walk to every attraction we wanted to visit. The noise from the street goes on well into the night (people singing, people out and about), so I recommend ear plugs. Also, the windows have curtains, but some light does filter through. The wifi worked well and the bed is comfortable. We would stay again!

The location of this apartment is superb. It's very cute, quiet and right off a main pedestrian drag in the Panthenon neighborhood. Perfect for couples. The only draw backs were that the wi-fi password didn't work while we stayed there, and the toilet leaked causing the bathroom floor to be damp. Small worry though because we spent most of our time outside enjoying Rome. I would definitely recommend for budget minded couples looking for premium location and a cute lofted apartment.
