Come enjoy Casa Catalina, our private oasis lovingly created for the enjoyment of family and friends. Our home has been designed to optimize outdoor living and entertainment with several lounge areas surrounded by greenery and lush plants, tall palms and beautiful flowers. After a sunny day poolside, spend the evening chilling in front of a toasty fire in our cozy outdoor lanai.
The house sits on a acre of land, fully fenced and secure with abundant fruit trees for your enjoyment.
The space
The stylish 2500 square feet single level, four-bedroom residence has been newly renovated and features hip décor, tasteful art and beautiful house plants. The backyard invites you to relax by the pool or lounge in our cozy lanai.
The property is fully fenced and located at the end of a private road. Casa Catalina can only be accessed via an electric security gate. The front yard has been landscaped as a desert garden and we have an abundant mature orchard containing Valencia Oranges, Blood Oranges, Cara Cara Oranges, Tangerines, Limes, Apples, White Peaches, Yellow Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, Apricots, Figs. Indulge yourself with fresh orange juice every day!
The backyard has been designed with a wall of greenery that surrounds the pool/spa and lanai for total privacy. A massive wood burning fireplace in the covered patio (lanai) invites our guests to relax while listening to music over cocktails and soaking up the serene setting.
The backyard also contains a partially covered patio that is designed specifically for al fresco dining. There is a large table adjacent to the gas BBQ grill and food prep counter, and seats ten people comfortably. An intimate and comfortable place to gather with your friends and enjoy our perfect Fallbrook weather.
**POOL HEATING**
Pool heating is available for an additional charge and upon advance request. Spa heating is free and included with your booking.
The pool is not heated. Upon request we can heat the pool for an additional fee. This fee must be agreed upon and paid in advance.
It takes several hours to get the pool to a nice 78 degrees during the months of October through April (up to 12 hrs). If you know you want to have the pool heated by the time you arrive, the first day charge will start on the day you specify, keeping in mind that it takes 10-12 hrs to pre-heating.
Initial heating on day 1 is $200, and $140 per day thereafter for up to 8hrs between the daytime hours.
During the summer months is not necessary to heat the pool, but if it is your preference to have it heated the charge will be $150 for the initial pre-heat and $100 per day there after. This is for the months from May to September.
The bedrooms have all been meticulously design with comfort in mind including plush mattresses, high quality linens and pillows. A peaceful night of sleep awaits.
Bedroom 1: (Master) Has a Cal-King bed, 36” HD TV with Roku. Access to patio via double French doors. The on-suite bathroom has double sinks, large tiled shower, separate bath tub. Three closets and a large dresser.
Bedroom 2: Has a Queen size bed, a dresser and closet. A large window offers a view of the backyard. This room has a large desk and chair for anyone needing to do remote work.
Bedroom 3: Queen size bed, a dresser and closet. Window with view to the backyard.
Bedroom 4: Full size bed, dresser and closet . Large window with view to the backyard.
There is a fold out couch in the family room with a full size bed
The second bathroom has a single sink and a bath/shower combo.
We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton swabs, towels and washcloths . Pool towels are also provided.
The house has an open floorplan, with the kitchen open to the family room and dining area. Seating for three at the bar overlooking the kitchen. The dining table seats up to 8 people. The family room contains a leather couch that converts into a full size bed if needed, two side chairs and a 52" HD TV with Roku. There is a gas fireplace in this room.
The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you needed to prepare meals. Pots and pans, commonly used pantry items including cooking oils, salt & pepper and an variety of spices. A sufficient inventory of dishes, silverware, wine glasses, coffee mugs. There is a gas stove/oven, a full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dish washer, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker. We supply coffee, regular and decaf, sugar and stevia and creamer.
The front living room is a spacious yet intimate gathering place. This room has a wood burning fireplace, a sofa and two sides chairs. Grab a good read from our bookshelves or play a board game from our selection of popular games. The room has abundance of natural light and is our favorite place to enjoy the morning sunshine.
