The whole AirBnB experience worked out really well for us. We had great communication (via the AirBnB email facility) with Alex before we arrived and subsequently using Whatsap, including confirming that she would be at the flat to greet us. When we arrived the flat was in perfect order, having recently had a make over in the fully fitted kitchen. All the bed linen was new, as were the towels. The only omission was the lack of dishwasher, which had broken down and had been removed. But on request, and because we were staying for 9 weeks, a new one was purchased within hours and installed the next day. Similarly, even though the flat had A/C, we asked for a fan for the bedroom. This too was purchased for us and came in handy on those evenings when we didn't want to run the A/C all night. Alex even bought us an airer/clothes drier, so we didn't have to use the drier part of the washer/drier machine. We met Alex and her mum and dad and they all made us feel very welcomed. We were in Valencia for 9 weeks and the location of the flat is just superb, being less than 5 minutes away from shops, the super market, a bus terminus and a major link station on the Metro system (Colon). It's also surrounded by restaurants and cafes. We found we could catch the #32 bus to the beach from just round the corner, which was a huge bonus - but don't forget to purchase your BONOBUS card from the Tabac. All in all we found the flat to be pretty near perfect for our needs. The only tiny criticism would be that the flat's windows are all frosted glass, meaning you can't see out unless you open the glazed doors. Mind you, the upside is that could wander around naked if you wanted to!!! ;))

Alejandra was very professional and personable in our dealings with her - the booking process, our arrival at the accommodation and throughout our month-long stay throughout April 2016. She was never intrusive, but let us know that if we needed anything she was always available to help us. The recently renovated accommodation is in excellent condition and very comfortably furnished with quality appliances - it suited us perfectly. The contentions and orientation are exactly as the photos illustrate and the inventory lists. The location is extremely convenient for getting around the whole of old Valencia on foot - although for those who need to cover the ground more quickly, bikes are available for hire everywhere and local bus routes are very cheap. On arrival by air, the metro from the airport to Colon only requires you to walk approx. 400m to be in the apartment. Up-market clothes shops are very close by and El Corte Ingles just around the corner (with a very good supermarket department). The famed Mercado Central is full of wonderful, fresh food and we bought from it regularly. It is also worth locating the small grocery shops are in nearby narrow streets. There is a huge variety of restaurant and café/bars to choose from and Alejandra has considerable knowledge of many and can offer advice and guide you - depending upon your needs/preferences. The Turia can be easily accessed on foot and makes a wonderful resource for longer strolls in a pleasant and varied, green environment. It is good to see that many local people make very good use of the facilities. Placa Alfonso is just around the corner and it is very nice to sit there of an evening watching Valencians at their paseo or taking coffee, etc. The city beaches are wonderful and become quite animated of a weekend. To the south, a convenient bus-ride away, are the 'wilder' beaches near to Albufera - quite empty of the mid-week. Santiago Calatraver's modern architecture is rightfully a major draw for visitors - they are visually spectacular. However, we strongly recommend that people spend some time also discovering and visiting a number of the very interesting museums that are scattered throughout the old city - entry is very cheap and the content frequently of world class/high standard. We had a great time, full of activity and variety - we were always comfortable and thank Alejandra very much for her discreet time and attention.

The apartment is clean, comfortable and secure. Everything is as described in the listing. The location is fantastic, close to the main shopping area and within easy walking distance of the old town and all of Valencia's attractions. There are many good restaurants, bars and cafes close by, and Metro station Colon is only a short walk away (it has direct service to/from the airport). It feels very safe. Alejandra is a charming and very helpful host. We stayed for 30 days and had a wonderful time. We would recommend Alejandra's apartment without hesitation. Patrick

We had a wonderful stay in Valencia... I didn't get to meet alejandra as I arrived later and left earlier than my friends but they were extremely complimentary.. Every interaction I had with alejandra was extremely professional and friendly. So I was disappointed not to meet her ... Alejandra gave us wonderful suggestions of places to eat around town The apartment is stunning .. In a fabulous location right in the heart of the city . There is no parking at the apartment but a good secure public carpark only around the corner.. A car is not needed though . I can't wait to go back to Valencia and stay at this apartment again .. Hopefully for longer next time

Alejandra is the best host i met in Airbnb. She is incredibly helpful and kind, couldn’t recommend more ! As soon we arrived she explained me everything about the city, the apartement. This place is great an completely exceeded my (URL HIDDEN) a beautiful apartement and the pictures did it no justice ! It’s very clean, modern and super easy to get from the subway. The area is very safe.It was not a problem to come back at 1 am by walking in the street. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and stay again in my next Valencia trip !

The apartment is spotless clean, spacious, with good kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, modern washroom and shower. Really, it has everything you need for a wonderful stay and the price is more than reasonable. The location is perfect, a few steps from El Corte Inglese for filling up on bottled water, only a few more steps to the metro stop Colon, and a 5 to 10 minute walk to the major plazas and sights. Also, right near the apartment, are some great places to eat. Check out the Italian cafe Monviso, the take away pizza at Stenfia, the local oyster bar Ostras Pedrin, and the Moroccan restaurant Almunia. All within a few steps of the apartment and then there are all the other great restaurants of Valencia. I wouldn't advise travelling to Valencia in the summer as the combination of heat and humidity can be oppressive. By late afternoon the churches are sweat boxes. However, if you find yourself in Valencia in the summer, as we did, the apartment has very good air conditioning and it was a welcome oasis whenever we returned from a few hours visiting Valencia's many sights. Thank you Alejandra!
