It features spacious gardens and is located just 30 metres from the magical beach of Xehoriati (Old Alykanas).

It consists of a large bedroom with a double bed and TV, a second spacious bedroom with two single beds, a couch that turns into a bed, TV, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, electric cooker, kettle and all necessary utensils, as well as a table and chairs.

It also features a bathtub and a big furnished veranda with a view of the endless blue of the Ionian Sea for unforgettable moments of peace and relaxation.

Our apartments are all located in old Alykanas (Ksechoriati beach) and most of the transport facilities are less than 30 minutes away.

If you came by plane you can either rent a car at the airport or take a taxi or a bus.

A couple of ideas the children love are the water park (at Sarakinado) and also the trip to the shipwreck beach. A small boat which goes for a few hours rather than a day trip can be better for smal children.

Also you can hire a car for the day and go exploring.

The central beach of alykanas It is sandy, with umbrellas and beach chairs, plus water sports and Ammos Bar which offers a children area and serves traditional cuisine and finger food all day. The bay deepens relatively fast, but in the middle of the beach there is a long and narrow sandy plateau, which provides a small area safe for children.

The ksechoriati beach. This one is sandy on the south side , with umbrellas and shoestring reastaurant on top of a cliff overlooking the bay. The bay is smaller, but it is also protected from the north winds, and is excelent for children. There are some rocks in the middle that children can explore and some lovely fishing boats that you an take pictures.

Alykes and Alykanas are less developed than the resorts in the south, but they too have grown-up recently and this year you will you find karaoke bars for the first time which you will either love or hate.

It’s still much quieter than resorts like Tsilivi and Laganas, and will probably suit more people now than previously.

Horse and carriages have replaced taxis and will provide free transport to local restaurants.

The beaches are excellent, long and sandy and very safe for children. It is still a very relaxing and friendly place.
