Traditional but modernised unique summer residence build in old Danish Style. Build in 1928 this in one of the very first West Coast houses - located on the highest top in the first line facing the West Coast. Panoramic view of the coastline!

The space

This is a 100% unique house. Today the house is owned by 3 brothers and a sister and we all enjoy spending our hollidays here with our families - as our family has done it in almost 90 years! It was build by our great grandfather in 1928 and has a rich history. When our great grandfather build the house there was no other houses in the area - and he obviously choose the highest spot as close to the water as possible.
During WW2 the German army occupied the entire area and locals where denied access. The German army made this central located house headquarters of their operations in the area - and you can still explore the two German bunkers hidden on the ground, and you can watch the marks of the "army boots" on the old wooden staircase.
The panoramic view is fantastic and the historical athmosphere is felt in every corner of the house. This is the place for book reading, traditional game playing, kite flying, enjoying the beach, hiking, biking and for relaxing ind the old fashion style. If you are interested in a new build house with a swimmingpool this is not a place for you - but if you search Danish "Hygge" this is one of the prime spots of the country.

The family-house has a great location directly on a dune with an fantastic atmosphere. If you are searching for a quite place, then this is the right place. Especially for bigger families it is well equipped. The surrounding and short distance to the beach is very favorable. The communication went perfect. Only the beds could be a little newer and harder. But we still rank it as 5 star.

It was a lovely house in a very nice location. As we stayed in November it was low temperatures and windy outdoors but with a nice fire place and some electric radiators it was no problem to quickly make it comfortable indoors. Our kids really enjoyed all board games and puzzles to explore and we really felt at home. We had some really nice family evenings in the house and thanks for not having a TV in the house :-). The surrounding nature is fantastic! The communication with host was good and they were very helpful.

We spent 4 days in this beautiful house at the west coast of Denmark. The house is on the top of a dune and the view is absolutely magnificent. In the house you can find everything you need for your stay and the sea and other activity opportunities are very close. Simon was very helpful from the moment I booked until the end of our stay. It had a great time as a family and I can recommend this place to everybody.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy personal historic house at the Danish coast during a beautiful autumn weekend. The house has a beautiful view on the surrounding landscape and is well equipped. Simon is very friendly, responsive and helpful and had everything prepared for us when we arrived. We can fully recommend a stay here!

Great holiday home with fantastic surroundings. The house is not a normal holiday rental home. It is very personal, lots of old furnitures and stuff. Lots of games. We felt very quickly at home, and would like to come back

Exactly what we did expect! Really nice house in the dunes, a short walk from the beach. Everthing you need (kitchen tools etc. ...) is there. Just the stairway to the first floor is life threatening :)
