This “home away from home” sleeps 5 to 7 people, is an ideal base to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Whether you're an artist seeking inspiration, a walker looking to relax after a day in the hills or a family planning a getaway this is the place.

The space

The haven that is Cuan an Easc is situated less than a kilometre from Dingle town on the Slea Head Drive. Its hedge-enclosed gardens ensure peace and privacy—sit by the goldfish pond on the front lawn, or dine al fresco and play with the kids in the large back garden. The view across Dingle Harbour and the landmark Eask Tower from the front garden is matched by the view of the Brandon range at the rear of the property.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire home and can enjoy the gardens in private.

Interaction with guests

I will be meeting you on arrival to check you in and show you around the house. I will also meet you on the day of departure. Other than that I will only be a phone call away if you need anything.

Nice house, not too far outside Dingle. Good base if you are looking to explore the area.

Exactly as described. A nice comfortable pad with fabulous views and a not too long walk into town.

We all enjoyed staying in this house. The weather in Dingle was very wild and we loved watching the weather move down from the mountains from the warmth and safty of the kitchen. We also enjoyed browsing through the books and maps that were in the shelves. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and there were excellent instructions in a folder for all aspects of the hoouse. Everything was very clean and tidy and the location really suited us as we wanted a views. We walked into DIngle one evening and back again. It took us about 25 minutes to get to the centre. The host has left a couple of torches that we used when walking into town. It all worked out fine.

Great location! Stayed here for the Dingle marathon, and the route ran past the house. It is just under 1 mile to walk to the centre of Dingle however there are short stretches without a footpath so a torch and hi vis is essential at night, both of which were provided by the host. There was no hot water on two of the mornings but there are instructions on how to boost the tank, and I would advise checking there is a tank full before going to bed at night to avoid having a cold shower/wait for hot shower in the morning. The views are fantastic! Dingle lived up to its reputation of being the foodie town of Ireland - would visit again.

We had a lovely stay in the house in Dingle, great location just outside Dingle harbour, good size rooms and nice big garden. The walk into town doesn't take to long but part of it is on a main road but not too busy.

House lovely and clean and inviting. We arrived before Sarah was free but she made sure we could have access. Good local info.

Sarah is very helpful and informative about the area and her tips for pubs and restaurants were spot on. Dingle is a lovely, lively town and the surrounding countryside is simply breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay. As things turned out we didn't stay in the house we originally booked as the owners were using it but this was sorted out well in advance of our arrival and we were offered a satisfactory alternative by Sarah at a reduced price so we were quite satisfied by this.
