Very specious loft with tons of character and decorated with love. Situated in the one of best neighborhoods, the space offers a huge living and eating area with an open kitchen and 2 separate bedrooms. Two subways in walking distance (L, J-M-Z).

The space

A true New York experience and a place you definitely looking forward to come home to after a long day in the city. There are not many places left like this in the area. Lots of space and light, cause of the 11 windows in the apartment. With the marble mosaic floor, the beams and the green outside the window, you sometimes don't feel like being in the city. The building is beautiful old brick stone warehouse in a beautiful little street next to the waterfront.

- one king-sized, one full-sized bed
- full length mirror
- dresser
- hangers for clothes
- fresh bath towels included with stay
- WiFi

Guest access

You'll have access to everything besides our music equipment and computer. But there is a Jambox sound system you can use. Also, there is a projector if you want to get cozy and watch some movies.

The apartment is equipped with full kitchen
(oven, stove, toaster, pots, pans, etc.) and refrigerator for your use, bathroom, bathtub, dining room, living room. We have a huge sunny roof with a beautiful view over the East River and the bridge that you are free to use.

There is a laundry room in the basement. Washing and drying is $4.50.

Interaction with guests

This was my first time using Airbnb and it was fantastic! Andy & Stephanie's place was awesome; it has a nice open layout affording lots of space whilst keeping an interesting and trendy vibe. The location was great for us, the nearby Marcy Ave subway stop provided easy access for travelling over to manhattan and the surrounding area had several quality restaurants/bars/cafes to visit. Communication was easy as we just kept it through the airbnb messenger; I'll certainly look to stay here if I visit NY again in the future.

Perfect place to stay if you want to experience how life is in one of those cool Brooklyn apartments. Steph and Andy are really great hosts who gives you the best advices for exploring the city. “We want our guests to fall in love with the city the way we did when we moved here.” This is from their profile, and now I know these words flow from their hearts.

Stephanie was great and her loft was super cute. The pictures are very accurate. It wasn't as squeaky clean as a newer type of place, but I think that's pretty normal for an older building. It was a bit warm inside the apartment. There is a moveable fan as well as several wall units. The wall unit in the smaller bedroom worked well, but the other ones in the common areas did not seem to work very well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The loft is located in a safe neighborhood near the water and bridge. It's very close to the main drag where there are a lot of good eateries and bars to choose from. The apartment itself is very spacious. The shower/tub was outside of the bathroom and is situation in the middle of the common areas with only curtains to cover. Stephanie's communication with me the whole time was prompt and helpful. I asked her for bar recommendations and her recommendations were spot on.
