This delightful little house was built in the late 1800s, dismantled and moved by an elderly man load by load in a handcart and reassembled here. It is fun comfortable, a treat to stay in. Walking distance to everything.
This wonderful little 100 plus year old house is aptly named, Esher. Located on Esher Street, it mimics the work of the artist in its fanciful reconstruction. Originally the house was located several blocks away. It was dismantled in the early1900s and moved, load after load, in a handcart by a small boy and an 80 year old gentleman to its current location, and reassembled, piece by piece.
The house is tiny but extremely cozy and comfortable. There are two queen sized beds, and one double, as well as a pull out trundle in the living room that makes into a very comfortable queen size bed.
Guests have access to just about everything the city has to offer. It is walking distance to downtown, the driving park, festival grounds, theater, great shopping and restaurants.
