Once inside, you’re immediately rewarded with one of the most spectacular views in Dartmouth, stretching up and down the river, all the way to the mouth of the estuary.

The open-plan living space is the social heart of the property, featuring two dining tables for shared meals and celebrations, a sleek kitchen with island seating, and a stylish lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the panoramic river views. Doors open onto a balcony with plush seating, the perfect spot for morning coffee, lazy afternoons, or watching boats sail by.
Sleeping thirteen guests across six well-appointed bedrooms, Steppes is ideal for multigenerational families or groups of friends. One bedroom is on the main living level, while the rest are downstairs. Room arrangements include three super king bedrooms, one king, one double, and a charming cabin-style room with three single beds, perfect for children or teenagers. Each room is bright and airy, with large windows and soft, coastal-inspired décor.
There are two stylish family bathrooms (one with a large bath), along with two separate WCs for added convenience. On the lower level, a cosy snug offers a second lounge, complete with telescope, books, and games, and direct access to a large decked terrace with outdoor seating for sun-soaked relaxation.
Outside, the AstroTurf garden is ideal for family barbecues or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening sun. For those requiring extra space, The Boathouse, a self-contained annexe in the garden sleeping five additional guests, is available on request.
Just a five-minute stroll from Dartmouth town centre, Steppes offers effortless access to the harbour, boutique shops, restaurants, galleries, and scenic coastal paths, all without needing the car.

Other things to note
Parking:
The property has no parking on site; however, you can pull up to unload in front of the main steps that lead down to the property to load and unload. Between 1st October and 30 April there are lots of free and unlimited spaces throughout the town, the majority of those being on 'South Town' which is the road leading up to the entrance gate or 'Embankment Road' which is the road that runs along the entire river.
The main central car park located is just a ten minute walk from the property and can be controlled using the PaybyPhone App or alternatively, the Just Park app can offer local alternatives.
During the main season (May-September) the 'Park and Ride' offers the best solution with regular buses running through the day.
