We had a great stay at Karyl's house and she was very welcoming host. She gave us the ride to/from the station, shopping mall or helped with whatever we needed. The house was beautiful with a garden, fully equipped, everything for our use. We stayed most of the day outside, so didn't get to use the BBQ, maybe next time. PS: we loved her little doggie.

Host was initially out of town on unforseen family business, but we met her later. Her parents came by to check, we're very helpful. House is in a quiet, safe - feeling neighborhood of well-kept homes on tree-lined streets, close to arterials and restaurants. The King bed was comfy, bathroom updated with large tile shower.

This was an easy stay. I arrived late. I got up early every day and got back to the place late at night - lots of work. So I did not meet the host or other guests. But the room was exactly as I wanted. Nice bed. Clean. Easy to come and go. Would stay there again.

Great master suite in a lovely home. Very close to where I needed to be in Madison and within walking distance to several stores/restaurants. Karyl made the experience easy. I would have loved to sit outside if the weather had been nicer!

Karyl was an amazing host. I contacted her about 8 hours before I was to arrive in Madison and she responded almost immediately. The room was clean and ready when I arrived. I was working at UW for a month and the room was exactly what I needed; a quiet room with a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. She made it clear that I had access to anything in the kitchen and laundry room. I was working long hours, so she evened offered to do my laundry. Although I was staying in Madison for four weeks, my initial lease only lasted three because she had already rented the room out the last week. However, she was nice enough to offer me a second room for the last week. She was extremely kind and hospitable and living in her house was far better than staying in a hotel. I will seek her out again when I return to Madison.

Staying at Karyl's place was great. She was a great host and supplied everything we needed. If we had more time, it would have been note to chat with her more, but we were visiting friends in Madison and so had a busy schedule. We rented her suite and it was nice to have the separate bathroom. And the bed was a really comfortable memory foam mattress. We brought our small Yorkie with us, and Millie came to the room to greet her every morning - what a friendly pup! We loved the location, since we had a car and a lot of places to visit on the near west side of Madison. The area in general is really quiet and is right next to Olin Park - a good one for walking and bird watching. Overall, it was a good experience.
