The space
Paws Awhile cabin was completed in July 2022. This modern cabin has breathtaking mountain views from the double layer spacious decks. Enjoy relaxing in a wooden rocking chair with a delicious cup of coffee or an evening cocktail after a long day of adventures in the Great Smoky Mountains. Soak in the spectacular views from the hot tub in the wake of that long, strenuous hike to that unforgettable waterfall!
On the main floor, you will enjoy the natural light coming in from the floor to ceiling windows in the open concept living/dining/kitchen. In the living room, you will find a surprisingly comfortable queen sized pull out memory foam couch, and 2 chairs. Enjoy the gas fireplace on those crisp Smoky Mountain mornings or evenings. Above the fireplace is a smart TV (please login to your accounts to access the paid apps) or surf the web on the high speed wifi.
You will feel right at home in the fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove/oven, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig Duo coffee pot. Please find an extra cabinet once you pull out the barstool closest to the wall in the dining area. The bar has Seating for 4. The dining table will seat 6 comfortably. A griddle/grill is located on the main deck. Please remember we are in Bear country! Please do not leave any unattended food outside. You will find hand soap, dish soap, & 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen.
The bedroom on the main level consists of a king sized memory foam bed and smart TV. Please find luggage racks in the closet. The bathroom on this level consist of a walk-in shower. Please be gentle with the shower door! The bathroom is accessible from the bedroom & from the kitchen.
The lower level is accessed by a U-shaped staircase where you find a game room, movie room, bedroom, & bathroom.
The Game Room contains a pool table, game table, record player, & multiple board games.
In the Movie Room, you will find a 60" smart TV with surround sound, a comfy couch, & beanbags.
The bedroom on the lower level consists of a king sized memory foam bed and smart TV. Please find luggage racks in the closet. The bathroom on this level consist of a tub/shower. The bathroom is accessible from the bedroom & from the game room.
Full bathrooms on both levels have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & 2 rolls of toilet paper. Fresh towels & sheets are provided. Please use the makeup wash clothes to remove makeup or anything that will stain & help us maintain stain free linens.
Traveling with your pet? We welcome fur babies with some requirements - 50 pound max/pet, 2 pet max, $100 nonrefundable pet deposit, & no kitty cats with claws. Please do not allow fur babies on the furniture & always keep fur baby on a leash for their protection! Fur babies must be potty trained & no accidents inside the cabin.

This is our vacation home. Please treat it as you would your own! If anything gets damaged, please report this immediately so it can be addressed in a timely manner.

Other things to note
Please be aware that this cabin is in the mountains! The road is paved & in good condition, but it is narrow & steep in places. It might seem scary at first but after a few times, you will be a pro! Please use extreme caution while driving in inclement weather! G Maps will get you to the road. You must continue up the private road to get to the cabin.
We have a lot of wildlife, including Black Bears in the area. Please use caution & do not feed the animals! Do not leave food in your vehicle, your car doors open or even unlocked!
