Homemade breakfast. Quiet area with off-street parking. Walk to Bend’s prospering downtown, amble along the Deschutes River or up Pilot Butte. Old Mill, college and medical center are minutes drive. Easy access to outdoor activities.

The space

The home is quiet and relaxing. Your bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with basic cable tv, internet access, and room to sit back, relax and have a cup of tea or glass of wine in privacy. In addition, there is a private, luxurious bathroom adjacent to your bedroom. In your room, find a small refrigerator and coffee/tea pot, and folder of brochures and maps of the area. There is locked storage space for your gear under the front deck.
You can see the mountains from the dining room, living room, and deck. You can have your choice of breakfast on a tray in your bedroom, in the dining room or the deck with mountain views.
Purrcey, the loving co-host, will greet you and absorb all the petting you want to share. He's a lovable, big old guy who is outdoors some and sleeps alot while he's indoors. He only has access to your suite if you invite him.

Guest access

Make yourself at home in the dining and living rooms well as the front and back deck. Talk with me about kitchen access for stays of four nights or over.

Interaction with guests

I am available upon arrival and breakfast for consultation about visiting the area's activities.

Judy's place was great - a very friendly home from home. Judy was a very kind and considerate hostess and made sure I had a great stay. The house was very conveniently located in town and easy to find. I had a very comfortable night and was served a delicious waffle and egg breakfast, which set me up perfectly for a busy day on the Cascade Lakes Highway. I would return here again any time and highly recommend Judy's places to other travellers coming to Bend.

Judy is an amazing host. Her breakfast every morning is something to look forward to! My wife and I got lots of good tips on where to visit and what the local conditions were. A true "bnb" bed and breakfast experience! Highly recommended!

Excellent location minutes away from downtown and many great restaurants. Judy's house is really nice. The room we stayed in has an adjacent spacious private bathroom which makes it nice and easy. Judy is a wonderful host. Easy going and fun. She gave us great tips/was very helpful when we tried to come up with plan B due to the heavy smoke from nearby the forest fires. The breakfasts she cooked were delicious! Thank you Judy for the wonderful stay. I am already looking forward to stay at your beautiful home again next time I visit Bend. PS: PuRRcey is a very friendly cat! I had to convince my fiancé to not smuggle him home haha jk

Judy was a great host during our time in Bend. Her home was very comfortable and clean. Staying at Judy's house was similar to staying with friends which made our trip even more enjoyable. The location of her home was great and an easy 5 minute drive to anything we wanted to do downtown or at the Old Mill. She also made a wonderful breakfast for us!

Judy was a wonderful host. Communication was excellent, and she made us feel completely at home. She is a good guide, as she has a vast store of interesting sites and features that can be easily visited. There's a lot to do in the area of Oregon surrounding Bend, and we would not hesitate to make Judy's wonderful home the pivot.

Great spot! Judy was an excellent host--very helpful, accommodating, gracious, and respectful. She kindly reached out in advance about dietary preferences/restrictions and thoughtfully provided vegan breakfast for me. Internet was fast, reliable, and secure; although it took a few minutes to connect initially, the connection was awesome once established. Appreciated having the bathroom connect directly to the private room for privacy and convenience. Location was great: getting everywhere I wanted/needed to go was easy. On a personal note, as a woman who travels alone quite a bit, I very much enjoyed talking with Judy over a beer in the evening (for the record, I solicited her company--I felt no obligation to entertain her!) Would definitely like to stay here again next time I'm in Bend.

I am an optimistic, high energy person, who enjoys company and who also needs quiet time to myself. I am friendly and talkative, and am also a good listener. I love to travel, but am finding Bend, Oregon a hard place to leave. I've loved it here since I arrived in 2011. I love spending time outdoors, walking, hiking, camping, and occasionally biking and cross country skiing occasionally. I love to read and in winter will watch tv and movies. I'm a problem solver and take action when needed. That's why traveling and hosting are enjoyable for me. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
