Homemade breakfast. Quiet area with off-street parking. Walk to Bend’s prospering downtown, amble along the Deschutes River or up Pilot Butte. Old Mill, college and medical center are minutes drive. Easy access to outdoor activities.
The home is quiet and relaxing. Your bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with basic cable tv, internet access, and room to sit back, relax and have a cup of tea or glass of wine in privacy. In addition, there is a private, luxurious bathroom adjacent to your bedroom. In your room, find a small refrigerator and coffee/tea pot, and folder of brochures and maps of the area. There is locked storage space for your gear under the front deck.
You can see the mountains from the dining room, living room, and deck. You can have your choice of breakfast on a tray in your bedroom, in the dining room or the deck with mountain views.
Purrcey, the loving co-host, will greet you and absorb all the petting you want to share. He's a lovable, big old guy who is outdoors some and sleeps alot while he's indoors. He only has access to your suite if you invite him.
Make yourself at home in the dining and living rooms well as the front and back deck. Talk with me about kitchen access for stays of four nights or over.
Interaction with guests
I am available upon arrival and breakfast for consultation about visiting the area's activities.

Downtown, with a variety of shops and restaurants is also a 15-20 walk. A less than 10 minute walk will get you to Los Jalapeños for Mexican food, Croutons for soups, salads and sandwiches, Back Porch Coffee Roasters, Rockin Dave's Bagel Bistro, The Breakfast Club, three grocery stores for your picnic fixings, banks and gas. Juniper Swim and Fitness Recreation Center is a five minute walk. I am an optimistic, high energy person, who enjoys company and who also needs quiet time to myself. I am friendly and talkative, and am also a good listener. I love to travel, but am finding Bend, Oregon a hard place to leave. I've loved it here since I arrived in 2011. I love spending time outdoors, walking, hiking, camping, and occasionally biking and cross country skiing occasionally. I love to read and in winter will watch tv and movies. I'm a problem solver and take action when needed. That's why traveling and hosting are enjoyable for me. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
