2 nights minimum stay
I haven't spent much time during the day at the apartment (I only used it to sleep, as I left every day early in the morning and came back only in the night). The bed is comfortable, and usually the neighbourhood is quiet (although one night there was a lot of noise in the building, all night long; probably a noisy party). Unfortunately, the bathroom is tiny -- the tiniest I have ever seen in an apartment so far. Josefine was very helpful and gave me many suggestions about my stay in Paris. She kept in touch with me every day, making sure I have everything I need and that all is fine. She was a nice host, although I have not met her and we only discussed at the telephone or via messages on airbnb.
The listing description was very accurate. The property was a bit small. However, it was very cozy and it is very suitable for 2 person. Thus, this was one of the reason which made our stay considered most enjoyable. The wifi stopped working for 2 hours only. However, wifi worked very well throughout our stay in the apartment. In general, the property was worth the value to stay for 2 person.
I fell in love with this sweet little place, right in the heart of one of Paris' nicest areas. There were patisseries on every street corner, wine shops, bars, places to eat and chic clothes shops right in our street. The room itself was tiny but very comfortable and quiet. We used two separate beds, the one up on the 'mezzanine' [with new soft mattress] and the single one in the picture. It was very homely and Josefine was helpful and welcoming. Although it was not luxurious, it was charming and I'm hoping to go back...
Josefine's apartment is very cute. It feels like a typical Parisian experience! It's well heated, clean and nicely furnished. We had a little difficulty with the wifi but Josefine helped us find a solution as quickly as possible, which we really appreciated. She's a very responsive host. The metro station is close and their are amenities like a baker and food shops nearby. For the most part, we felt safe in the neighbourhood, and found the apartment a good base from which to explore Monmartre and beyond. We'd recommend the apartment for any couple considering a visit to Paris that's looking for an authentic, local experience.
The key for the flat was under the mat as arranged; no frills welcome. We first noticed the sleeping platform, not easily accessible for the over 60s ! Although the bed was photographed in the profile, it is not obvious where it is & how very hard the futon is!! The spare sofa is far too soft & not comfortable to sleep or sit on. Due to the Paris attacks we were advised to stay indoors for a day, so that was not very enjoyable. The area is surprisingly dirty but very convenient as 2 metro stations are very close. The flat is very well equipped but a bit too bijoux for two people. There is not enough hot water for 2 showers & the air gets quite stuffy. Lovely electric espresso machine though!!
