I experienced great communication with Marcella before/during booking, and even while at the condo. She answered my many questions.
This is a resort-like area...we found it to be quiet and enjoyed the nicely-sized pool very near to the unit. I never tried to find the quickest walking route to the beach after we drove to the parking lot for it that we were allowed to use. With three young children and arms full with towels, sunscreen, etc., there's not a lot of reason I could see for walking to the beach. We drove every time and the walk from the car to the sand was short.
Out front of the unit is a hose connected, which was very handy to rinse any remaining sand from ourselves and our beach toys.
We slept 2 adults in the king, 2 kids in the 2 single beds, and 1 kid downstairs on the couch bed. We all slept well. There's also plenty of closet and drawer space.
We stayed Monday evening through Saturday morning and found the dish soap, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper to all be in adequate supply. I brought extras of all of that based on the listing info, but did not end up needing it. If we had stayed any longer, I probably would have needed to dabble in my supplies. I brought and used my own washing detergent, but it looked like you would need more than what was there if you plan to do laundry.
Overall, we found the accommodations to be adequate and comfortable. The location is close to grocery stores, gas stations, and dining. You're just a short drive to Destin, and about 40 mins. to PCB --- we visited both during our stay.
I think some simple additions would go a long way and make this a 5-star stay: pump hand soap in each bathroom, salt/pepper/oil...(a few basic pantry items), and a household cleaner of some sort for wiping down counters. Conditioner would be a nice addition to the baths - even full-size shampoo and conditioner. Even though you can find all these at the dollar store for a buck (which we did), the convenience of having these items already there would be notable.
