Ana responded almost immediately to our enquiry. She was also very helpful with any questions we had prior to our stay. Even though we had a late flight they quickly arrived at the apartment to show us in and help us with the baggage after we had phoned them. The apartment was clean and fresh and exactly as the photographs showed. Lovely crisp cotton sheets on the bed! The bed was comfortable and spacious. There is air conditioning in the kitchen/main room and we were very grateful for it as we enjoyed some very hot weather. The apartment had everything we needed for preparing meals. Novigrad itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The terrace gives wonderful views, although with no shade, we found it too hot to sit out there in the middle of the day. There are several bars and we ate at both restaurants and can recommend them both. There are 2 supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance plus you can buy fresh veg, salad from some of the locals too. Although only a small fishing village, on our first Saturday we enjoyed a live band playing outside one of the bars for the festival of the mussels! There was a great atmosphere, lots of people milling about and the mussels were delicious ... thanks Ana! The pebble beach is very close and even has a shower at one end. We caught the local bus several times to Zadar which meanders through several villages along the way. We hired a car for part of our stay and if you are staying any length of time I think you need it. There are some beautiful places to visit in the area but you really need a car to access them. We fell in love with Croatia: it is a beautiful, clean country, the people are friendly and we intend to return. Ana and her husband couldn't have been any more accomadating or helpful. They are lovely friendly people and we can wholeheartedly recommend their lovely apartment.

***** (Five stars) for Ana, her family and "Bonita"! :-) Everything was like we expected it, we enjoyed our stay every second and whoever gets the oppurtunity to eat some of Ana´s grapes... they are gorgeous!! I have only one little recommendation for new guests: as there is no coffee machine: bring your own, if you prefer "italian" or "american" to "turkish coffee". And if you are a passionated cook, you might need some more kitchen equipment, but the basics are there and Ana is always trying to help if something is missing. Thanks again Ana, hope to see you again, one day!

Good terrace, warm and hospitable hosts. Quite and clean town somewhat aside from the main tourist routes, however well communicated with Zadar. Very clean water.

Anna is a very nice host. She made us feel at home, by bringing us fresh figs en a melon from her own garden and wine and some liquor that she or her family made themselves. She talks good English and she is nice to talk with.

Hosts were very helpful, apartment is nice and my family found everything what we need. The view from balcony is fabulous. Novigrad is a great fishermen village where you can feel Croatian spirit. Location of this village is good because it is not far from Paklenica national park, Zadar, Kornati islands, Zrmanja river and island of Pag.
