This warm and comfortable home is in the centre of the Scottish Highlands: It's a five-minute drive from the banks of Loch Ness; one hour from Inverness and Culloden; 45 minutes from Ben Nevis; and 90 minutes from Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye!

With underfloor heating and a wood burner, you'll never be cold. There is a large porch at the back where you can enjoy the sun without the wind, dry your clothes and sit round the beautiful wooden table.

This house is a home from home.

The space
Suitable for solo travellers looking for long stays.

The bed on the mezzanine shelf is reached by a winding staircase. It is a full-sized double bed but due to the sloping ceiling, only really accommodates one person comfortably.

Also adapted to digital nomads with a desk, fast WiFi and ethernet cables. Well equipped kitchen.

This tiny house was built by members of my family, friends and myself. The wood used to clad and finish it has been locally sourced from old trees felled in Fort Augustus.

Everything in the house has been carefully planned so that the best use of space provides all the amenities and comfort necessary to live here.

The porch at the back provides a warm and sheltered space so you can enjoy the outdoors even if the weather isn't perfect!

Enjoy the breathtaking views from the front patio on sunny days.

Neighbourhood highlights

Enjoy the views of the beautiful golf course, canal and mountains in the distance. A 20 minute walk along the canal side to Fort Augustus. Wonderful if you like the outdoors. A great base for visiting both East and West coast of Scotland.
