The best quilted hills of England. Very close to Ashbourne - great for gourmets, antique lovers, fashionistas, art lovers and charity-shoppers. Miles of hill walks and cycle trails. Quaint towns with rambling secondhand bookshops. Prehistoric burial sites, splendid noble houses and the world's first factories. Alton Towers theme park and JCB Factory.
Best to have a car. Parking for 2 cars on a drive. An infrequent bus passes in front of Rainbow Cottage.
