I stayed at Sea Arch Cottage with my parents and brother for a family getaway, and we absolutely adored it! The sea view deck is fantastic, and sea access from the garden was my favourite part - I spent quite some time sitting on a rock watching the sealions colony, and spotted whales in the bay! Anne was extremely helpful and provided everything we needed to know.

Anne's cabin is the perfect get away for a family or couple. The view from the house is breathtaking. You will hear the seal's or sea lions barking away during the day, birds flying above and the swoosh of the ocean on the rocks below. The moon shinning on the water was so beautiful to see at night. Anne was an excellent communicator and very quick to respond. The check in process was super easy and Anne provides great directions. It was a quick 10 min drive from the ferry. The home has everything you need for your stay. The area is amazing and there is so much to explore. I highly recommend staying at Anne's cabin.

It's clean, well stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances, and is a wonderful ocean view property with easy access to a rock beach. It is very comfortable and the living space and kitchen are quiet roomy. It can be a luxury or a family or casual couples stay as you please. It is a 15-29 minute drive to Powell River, but it's highway and not taxing. We definitely want to come back! The price, frankly, could be much higher.

WOW! is all I can say. The place is great, the view is great and Anne was great to deal with. We had so much fun we did not want to leave, and the cottage was more then outfitted. It had everything we needed plus more.

My best friend and I spent six nights at Sea Arch Cottage and had a fabulous time. The cottage has everything you need, the beds are super comfortable, the view is amazing, and there are two decks on which to relax. The waterfront is very rocky so don't expect to swim but there are lots of beaches near by. Powell River is about 15 minutes north and we drove up there every day to go exploring. The bakery and the view at Lund is also worth the drive. There is plenty to do in the Powell River area, from all-day hikes to quiet beaches to yummy bakeries. Anne's directions were very clear and she left us a sheet of instructions about the cottage that were helpful. The only negative in our whole week were the mosquitoes. If you are from Vancouver, they will probably annoy you. If you are from the Prairies or Ontario, you will be delighted with how few there are. :)

I am a retired Manager of a Leisure Travel Agency. I have traveled extensively, but always love to come back to Powell River, to enjoy the breathtaking views from the cottage sundeck, whenever the opportunity presents itself.
