BOHEMIO is a beautiful, boutique adobe lodge for the solo traveler, family, or groups. Inspired by the novels of Kerouac, the open road, starry skies, and wine-fueled fireside chats. Bohemio offers a unique combination of rustic charm, and minimalist elegance.

The space
LAYOUT:
The space is large with a private entrance, large living room, and two private bedrooms. The bathroom in this room is located inside one of the bedrooms so keep this in mind if this is an issue for you. There is full access to the guest lounge with bar for entertaining, as well as the kitchen and outdoor spaces.
SHARED SPACES:
This is a boutique style property that allows you to book separate rooms within one house. If you book one individual room expect that you will be sharing main spaces such as the lounge, kitchen and yard with other worldly travelers like yourself. Each room has its own private entrance from outside and private access code. Your room is your sanctuary and it's NOT a shared space. Rooms #2 and #3 do share a bathroom with vintage clawfoot tub and toilet. Extra towels, bath salts, bubble bath are available for use. Additional detached private toilets are available across the yard with lock. Room #1 has its own PRIVATE bath inside suite that is NOT shared.
HALL BATHROOM:
Hall bathroom near kitchen is for guests staying in Rooms #2 & #3. Please be respectful of guests staying in rooms #2 & #3 who share the hall bathroom and refrain from using during your stay. You will be charged an extra fee if so. Room #1 has its own private bathroom and there are extra detached bathroom stalls in the back courtyard area.
Each room is separate and private, however, some spaces will be shared with other traveling guests visiting this area unless you book the entire house. We've set this house to be shared with others looking to meet new friends or bring families together in one grand space: over a meal, drinks, movies on the projector, board games or even stargazing while sipping wine over a fire. Our location is walking distance to all the shops, drinks, food and nightlife!
PARKING:
Street parking is available on Russell Street, however, we recommend parking on hotel entrance side on El Paso Street so you can easily access your private entrance. Please be kind to our wine patrons parking near by. Relax, this isn’t the BIG city, you don’t have to move your car for street cleaning or worry about parking tickets.
CHECKING IN:
Your room is self check-in! Checkin information will be sent with your booking information 2 days before arrival. The house has keyless entry. A unique code will give you access from exterior and interior doors. Park on El Paso Street for quick access to room, find the room number associated with your stay (1,2 or 3) above door and use code provided to gain access to your room.
TV:
This is a TV free zone! With extra wifi boosters available, feel free to bring your wireless devices to stream movies and internet here. Grab a bottle of wine and spark up a convo with someone new. We promise it's way more entertaining than watching TV all day. Little Juice is right across the street! If wine and conversation aren't your thing, pick up one of our old school board games and play a game with someone new. Watch a movie on the projector screen indoors or outdoors!
TRAINS:
We’re near the passing train which will pass quite often! Some nights more than others. Individually packed ear plugs are provided for sensitive sleepers which can be found in a jar on the counter in kitchen. They are bright orange so you can’t miss them. We toast to each passing train!
PETS:
We love pets! We allow up to two pets max!! Be sure to add pets to your reservation under "Guest Total". Always pick up after your pet! Loud barking or disturbances from your pet around other guests staying at Bohemio may result in eviction of your stay.
A/C & HEAT:
The entire property is equipped with Central Air. There are 2 thermostats. One inside “The Beat Suite” Room #1 and one inside the lounge area which heats and cools the rest of the house. To ensure all guests are comfortable we ask that you refrain from touching thermostats. We keep them set to 67-68 in the Winter and 70F in the Summer. Unless you’ve booked the entire house please do not touch! We’ve added individual heaters to each room for a more personalized temperature.
WIFI:
We’ve added two super boosters for extra internet power so you can take zoom calls or stream movies from your devices. However, being in such a remote area its possible internet can go out and it will!! Its such a way of life out here and we’ve accepted it. WIFI is never a guarantee anywhere in town and we don’t guarantee it here. If it does go out its likely we won’t get a technician until the following business day. We have the best available service for the area and find it very reliable however if nature prevails, unplug, disconnect and enjoy time with family or meet new friends.
FIRE:
There is an outdoor enclosed fire pit for guest use. Please use caution and NEVER leave a fire unattended. This is a high wind area that can cause embers to travel quickly and far. Never burn anything but wood. You are responsible for the safety of the house and others in your party around fires. DO NOT USE LIGHTER FLUID INDOORS. FIREWOOD is provided however if were out you can pick some up at Porters Grocery.
BURN BAN: If Presidio County is observing a fire ban during your visit you may not light outdoor fires other than for cooking. You are responsible for any fines incurred due to violations of this ban.
LA PLAYA:
Please refrain from roaming through gates and established boundaries on the property. The open lot to the East of property and "La Playa" are not for guest access. Please do not trespass on to these areas!
