We had a fantastic week in this house! The location is spectaculair and we had nice weather and lovely sunsets. It's a very quit and peacefull place. We tok the boat out almost every day and managed to catch several big fishes. The house is very charming and comfortable and has everything you might need. The only shop on the island is a few kilometers away. If you take a trip to Hardbakke, we can strongly recommend you to dine at Skafferiet restaurant. Nice people and good food. Communications with Stein were great. We didn't meet him, but he checked in on us using the app several times. Quick respons every time we sent him a message. We er determined to book another trip to Kverhella one day!

The house is beautifully situated directly at the sea. It is ideal for fishing, running, walking or just relaxing. Stein was very, very helpful in guiding us to the place. The house is quite remote, but we managed very well without a car. Its easy to get there by ferry and bus from Bergen. The shop in Nara can be reached in an approx. 1-1.5h walk. The shop provides everything. In case you dont want to walk, Stein will help you to find someone who will drive you. The house, especially the kitchen, is perfectly equipped.

Stein was a wonderful host. He was very responsive to our questions on email and made sure we arrived safely to the house on the day we came. The house has everything you want and need including a washer/dryer, all kitchen items, and linens - this was really helpful for us since we were coming from overseas. The use of the boat was so generous and really added to our experience. We loved fishing and crabbing! The views from the house and the surrounding area are stunning. There are a few other houses nearby, but the area is very isolated, so it is best for those who like peace and quiet or for a family or group. It was perfect for us!

The house is located at one of the most beautiful places we've ever been and this was our 6th time in Norway. All the people we met on the island were really nice and helpful. The house is very good equipped everything you wish for. Stein is a great host and if we had any questions he would help us even though he was not around. We weren't that lucky with the weather but it didn't matter, the oven, the beautiful view towards the sea (by the way: through almost every window in the house) and an amzing landscape made our stay just perfect. The kids were having fun in the shallow waters in front of the house. The boat and engine were in a perfect condition and lifevests and rain gear in all adult sizes were there to be used. We were lucky catching crabs and fish, collected mussels and snails. We are coming back and we can only recommend the house and the host. Thank you Stein for a great holiday.

Stein's place is a true gem. The views you get are amazing. We have never been to a holiday-home where we felt this welcome and at ease. Stein is the perfect host, sending us tips and tricks and he was very concerned about us. Our children loved catching fish, picking berries and playing around the house. The house was very clean and we had all the equipment we could wish for. We wil come back and tell all of our friends about this wonderful place!

Response from Stein:
Katleen and her family are the perfect guests. They show a genuine interest for the nature and for the places they are. And I was very glad to learn that we share the same interest for culture and heritage. You and your family are welcome any time, and I am very glad we got to know each other. Thanks to you all, Katleen!
