This beautiful one-bedroom apartment with a sit-in kitchen and a separate living room is well-located for a long or short stay in London. The flat is stylishly furnished and has ample space for clothes and luggage. There is one double bed (1.4m) in the bedroom and one large sofa in the living room big enough for one person.
It is located in a 1930s council building and the iconic Battersea Power Station is at the end of the road.
Tate Britain is only a 10-minute bus ride away and you can get to Westminster and Big Ben in 20 minutes. Sloane Square, Sloane Street and the King's Road where the Saatchi Gallery is located is also located 10 minutes away by bus.
Battersea Park Station is a 5 minute walk away and from here there is only one stop to Victoria Station (ideal for Gatwick and Heathrow, but there is also a bus to Stansted and Luton from here). Vauxhall Station is 5 minutes away by bus and here you can take the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus, only four stops away.
The gorgeous Battersea Park by the Thames, with a children's zoo, a p(website hidden) and tennis courts is only 5 minutes walk away.
A convenience store is located across the street, less than a minute from the apartment. There is also a nice pub - The Duchess - at the end of the road.
There is on-street parking which is free (a rarity for London) but space can't be guaranteed even if there tends to be free spaces also a short walk away. Please ask about this when booking.
The whole apartment is for the guests to enjoy. There isn't any off-limit areas, as long as everything is cared for.
Interaction with guests
I am just a phone call away and live in East London, but have made arrangements for keys to be picked up and dropped off locally, so chances are you won't see me when staying here.
Other things to note
The pipes in the building are old and as a result the sink in the kitchen is slow to drain.
Strictly no smoking please as this will greatly affect the stay of other guests arriving after you. And no loud music or too much noise as neighbours will complain. Please leave the flat neat and tidy when checking out - but we'll look after the cleaning. Check-in after 15.00 and check-out by noon. Feel at home and enjoy yourselves!
