*** Important ***
When you make a booking at our house, you are not reserving any particular room.
There are three rooms for guests & they're allotted based on a number of factors, including:
• the practicality of group sizes
• check-in & check-out dates
• the layout of the rooms in the house
During busy seasons it may be necessary once during your stay for you to move to another room. I will do my best to advise you beforehand of this possibility.
Thank you for your cooperation & understanding.
-Please respect this little house as a traditional Japanese house, where noise travels easily, and space is limited.
-That being said, make yourself at home and think of our space as your space. -Shoes off at the door, please.
-Be aware of the fragile tatami mat, shoji paper windows, and fusuma paper doors.
-Be mindful of the energy usage. (lights, air conditioner)
-Sorry, but we cannot host small babies who cry a lot, as the noise travels easily and may disturb other guests.
• No cigarette smoking

Our family moved to Kyoto a few years ago and we have really been enjoying spending our days in this culturally rich city. When we were younger, we traveled the world and enjoyed seeing life in all its splendor. Now, we want to bring the world to Anna and Leo and show them all the beauty that we have come to understand. We hope that you can come and share your culture with us, as we will do our best to make your Japan experience unforgettable.
We are not always at home and not always available to spend time, but we will do our best to welcome you, make sure that you are having a pleasant stay, and see you off. Of course we will always be available via phone or text during your stay.
