Welcome! Your room has a full antique brass bed, private bath and access to kitchen, living area, large deck and back yard- a modern home with a rustic feel. Quiet neighborhood, beaches and hiking trails nearby. 30 minutes to Newport and Providence.
You will love this house! It is a modern log home in a tranquil setting that feels like Vermont or Montana but is an easy drive to Newport and/or Providence. Little Compton, RI and Westport, MA are scenic New England towns full of character and are right down the road. The landscaped yard is spacious with a huge deck, koi pond, firepit and woods in back. A perfect place to get away and enjoy a peaceful retreat for a few days- or to be in easy proximity to Newport and Providence without dealing with the bustle and tourists!
The kitchen, living room and dining area have an open floor plan and you are invited to use those areas freely and make yourself at home. There is also a front porch, large deck and a spacious landscaped yard which you are sure to enjoy!
Interaction with guests
This is really up to you. I will be here during your stay but will give you as much privacy as you like. Please see below for information about holistic healing sessions.
Other things to note
I am a sound therapist and licensed massage therapist. The house is full of musical instruments including crystal and Himalayan singing bowls and several vibroacoustic sound tables- similar to a massage table but with speakers built into them. When you lie on it, you feel the vibrations of the music through your whole body. With this in mind, I offer deeply relaxing sound healing treatments to my guests for an added fee.
I hope you will enjoy yourself and love being here as much as I do! Please, no smoking in the house and no pets. Thank you!
My passion is healing with sound and music and teaching others how they can use sound for personal healing and transformation. I love traveling, meeting new people, live music, movies and spending time with my children and grandchildren! I love to cook and to eat good food. Five things I can't live without: music, change of seasons. laughter, meaningful relationships, stimulating conversation.
