This bite-size room is newly decorated at early 2015. It's our holiday home in Chiangmai which we plan to stay only once or twice a year. This 30 sqm. Room face northwest so it's shady all day. Super cool in winter as it's close to doi (mountain). In summer we have air-conditioning to cool you down after a long walk in town.
The room is docrated with a mixture of our collectibles from around the world and local made. Wooden glass cupboards and tables were custom made in Chiangmai from old wood which gives you a touch of old days. Many items were made by local crafter i.e. coffee table from Skogg, 2 chairs from Jatuchak market, mushroom pillow from Never Die, green round hand sewn cushion from Communista, Notepad roller from Things to make and do. A wooden house from Jibberish. Some of them have shops here in Chiangmai. We splash the room with fresh color as it's our favourite and also represents chiangmai as the town of cultural and art.
Queen size bed with good quality mattress and fresh linen. We use good quality linen to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Red cab taxi is a common public transport in Chiangmai. It's the cheapest way (next to walking) but not the fastest. Sometimes, just sometimes, the driver will take you round and round for ages before sending you off. Getting the red cab you may need to walk from condo entrance for a couple of minutes until reach Chiangmai uni, then there're plenty.
Taxi fare is not cheap but it's fast and convenient. Once call they will pick you up at the condo. You just need to call them at leaste 10-15 minutes in advance.
If you want to get out of town and do a day trip. I have number of drivers who you can trust and give you standard rate (fuel charge excluded). Our family hires them sometimes when we don't want to drive or go up the mountain where the road is narrow and has tricky curves. You many need to book in advance.
