This spacious bedroom and large guest bathroom are set in a beautiful Victorian terraced house and can accommodate 3 people comfortably (a King size bed and single bed). Really close to vibrant Narborough Road it is very convenient for the stadiums, De Montfort Uni and the city centre. There is on street parking at £2/48h. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen-dinner. Muriel speaks French and some Spanish and will happily give you tips to make your trip brillant and comfortable.

The space
The bedroom is large enough to work or relax, and very comfortable for a couple and one child or adult.
The bed is King size with a brand new memory foam topped mattress. The 2nd bed is a comfortable single bed with memory foam topper.
The bedroom is at the front of the house so gets lots of lovely light through the bay windows, which are double glazed to keep street noise and winter chill out.
The bathroom is large with a roll top bath and very good shower and is for exclusive use of the guests. This may be shared if the smaller room is also occupied.
* Children 2 years and over are considered to be an extra person and will be charged as extras so please do your enquiry with the correct number of people.
* Maximum occupancy is 3 people due to local regulations and this is not negotiable (including infants).
* Stairs are very steep so care must be taken with children. Not really suitable for infants.
*Please book for the right numbe

Guest access
Make yourself at home and use the house as if it were your own :-).
The room and bathroom on the first floor are for the exclusive use of the guests. Access to it is shared with me, as my room is on the 2nd floor.
You are welcome to use the kitchen if you want to cook for yourself and you must use the kitchen to have meals, not the bedroom (there are small supermarkets just round the corner), otherwise there are dozens of restaurants to satisfy every taste right on your doorstep (Indian, Chinese, Turkish, Polish, African, Japanese, Greek, Jamaican and French, English, Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, American a bit further afield).
The spacious bathroom has a separate shower and Victorian style rolled top bath, a sink and toilet.
Feel free to go into the garden (if you are a smoker, you must! :-) filled with mature plants and a few herbs to add to your cooking. There is a table and bench.
The lounge is mostly my space as that is where my reflexology clinic is.

Other things to note
I am a professional Reflexologist practicing part time from home in the front room on the ground floor. When the dividing curtain is closed and therapy music is playing, please be mindful there is a client.

The West End is home to Narborough Road, voted 'Britain's most diverse high street - and home to shopkeepers from 23 different countries' from 4 continents including countries such as Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia as well as Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. It is a vibrant and friendly community with plenty to offer.
Eastleigh Road is a quiet, lovely, tree lined street just off Narborough Road.
There is everything you need on the doorstep (shops, restaurants, hairdresser, a post office, cash machines, cafes, bars and pubs) and it's really easy access to the city center (about 20-30mn walk).
At the bottom of the street you can reach Aylestone Meadows which is a nature reserve crossed by the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal. A great place for walks, or a jog, especially in summer.
If you are a football fan, on match day you can hear the roar of the stadium, just the other side of the canal. If you are lucky to have tickets, you're welcome whether you are a Leicester fan or not :-).

I'm from Leicester and love traveling. Accommodation is important but experiences, more so. I have been to a fair few places round the world and am now a host in my own home providing a comfortable, beautiful room in a convenient location to access Leicester and all it has to offer. I am a trained reflexologist, practice yoga, love the outdoors as well as the bustle of cities and a good dance! There is nothing I can't live without, apart from love and friends. I manage with anything, anywhere. My life motto: if you don't like something change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it: live now, not yesterday or tomorrow. Nov 17 update: My listing is now ready to reopen after 3 months off for major building works. Looking forward to welcoming guests again

During your stay
I will give you as much privacy as you want, but I am also happy to have a chat and share a coffee or a glass of wine. I dont have a TV so I listen to music and the radio a lot. I'm very interested to hear stories about where people come from and always keen to discover new musical talents.
I love my city. If you need, I will share my tips about the best places to eat, drink or visit and what to do in Leicester. And, I am proud to say, I am a keen Leicester City FC fan :-)
Any help you need to make your stay comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable, I will be very happy to provide if I can.
If you prefer finding your own way around, that's fine too.
It's your stay, feel free.
