WONDERFUL!!!! This is the word to describe your house that became our HOME for nearly 11 days. Ioannis and Effie were the most amazing hosts that we could ask for. There were everything that we could need and even more. The description on your listing page was perfect and full…

Sometimes you have to set aside your ego and admitt: There are people better than us. More kind, more optimistic more decent and therefore more happy. Lica, Paulo and their beautiful sons came in a smile and left full of smile. That was our greatest gift. We're very happy they made our home a part of their memories and from now on they are always wellcome in our house not as airbnb guests but as friends. Thank you for love and respect our home and our efforts to help people have a nice time. You are great. We look forward to meet you again whenever you want.
The host was really nice, and so was his wife. They should us around the house and the neighborhood in his car. He even dropped us to the airport :) All necessities were provided; tea, sugar, coffee, toiletries etc. The area was nice and quiet and no nuisance, great for a city ge…

Dear Ludmilla, Charmy and Shahrukh Please keep in mind that our first contact was through Charmy on March 4th and the booking was completed on March 8th , so you had enough time (2 and a half months) to check the position of the house and the amenities provided. Greece is one of the most popular destinations for tourists and offers every kind of vacations anyone desires, depending on what they prefer. There are busy places for the young people, like Mykonos,Rhodes, Corfu,Crete,Santorini and many others, and there places like Attica, and Peloponnese full of attractions and nightlife but also and mostly suitable for family tourism and relax. Anavyssos and the areas surrounded, are very popular tourist attractions of Attica. It belongs to a 70 kilometers coastline , with beautiful beaches, ancient monuments, lots of restaurants , taverns, bars and every kind of entertainment. Anavyssos is an extremely popular tourist attraction and has 5 starred hotels, organised beaches , big supermarkets , restaurants provide any kind of food (Greek,Italian,Cyprιοτ, french, seafood),coffee shops, beach bars and rooms and houses to rent , of course. Thousands of tourists are hosted in Anavyssos every year, throughout the year. Before booking a house, the visitor has the chance to check and cross check the exact position of the house he wants to rent, simply via (Hidden by Airbnb) and other ways. The visitor also has the chance to see all the details of the house and its' surroundings and if he is not satisfied, or if it doesn't reach his expectations, he can always cancel his booking , with a very low cost, as could have been done in your case. You did not do that, and you decided to come , instead of asking if you should rent a car, although from the description of the house and in the map,it is noted that the beach is 2 miles away ,something you can actually see in most of the 27 photos of the house that were taken by an expert photographer of the site. How is it possible to explore Athens and the surroundings of Athens (as you primarily stated you wished to do through Charmy's messages) , staying in Anavyssos or any other maritime suburb of Athens? Did you notice any railway stations or underground, on any tourist guides or maps? Where is the lack of precision of the information given,as you mentioned in your feedback? The walk to the beach does certainly not take 40 minutes on foot unless you are taking an afternoon promenade. But if you walk quickly or slowly,is a matter of opinion. The distance is 2 miles and can be covered accordingly. Anyhow walk under the hot Greek sun in the middle of the day is not recommended,so alternatively i provided you the phone number of a local taxi driver who could pick you up from the house and drive you to the beach and back in 5 minutes, or anywhere else near, and at very low cost 5-6 euros. I assume that you didn't used it also. I also don't understand what you mean by writing " Overall experience was good but I advise you to look into Greece before visiting because it was a bit shock to how everything looks ( took us a while to get used to it) "? As mentioned above, Greece is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world and also a very modern European country , which definitely does not SHOCK(?) a visitor - certainly not in a bad way! Shock was for me the fact that during a few days, you used almost all the sheets of the house, and most of them - full of sand- maybe were used as towels at the beach? You left the house almost dirty, full of hair everywhere, scrap on the floor, food left in the fridge, and you ate in the bedrooms and consumed food and drinks without permission. Furthermore,in relation with your arrival, you were given a precision printable map via Bing , so any problems and confusion provoked, was not the host's responsibility, but the driver's who rode you to the house. Finally, I would like to advise you , next time you decide to travel, pay more attention to your destination (and not only at the price), get more informed by reading tourist guides and reviews, so that you can have the vacations that reach your expectations, without misunderstandings and disappointments. Before judging , it's better to self- criticize. Wish you all the best to the future Regards Ioannis
