Ellie’s Barn is a luxury cabin located in the western weald of the South Downs National Park. Far reaching and uninterrupted views to the rolling Downs can be enjoyed from the privacy of your terrace. The barn is fully equipped with modern amenities mixed with a traditional rustic charm.
Nestled within a 30 acre farm you are surrounded by stunning countryside perfect for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and those just looking for complete relaxation in a luxurious setting.

The space
The accommodation is equipped with a kitchenette with fan oven, 2 plate ceramic hob, fridge with ice box freezer, microwave oven, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are all provided. Tea, coffee, milk and butter will be provided on arrival.

The bed is king size with Hypnose mattress and White Company bed linen.

A freeview TV is provided but we encourage our guests to connect with nature more than Netflix.

The Barn benefits from hard wired super-fast broadband of circa 200 Mbps.

The bathroom has a large walk in shower, marble topped wash basin (reclaimed marble), heated towel rail, separate toilet. Bath sheets, hand towels, shower gel and loo roll are provided (but please bring your own shampoo, hairdryer and anything else that you think you may need).

There is bistro style seating on the south facing terrace and a small private garden with Webber BBQ.

Bikes etc can be kept securely in your own adjoining storage space. This space also has its own power source for charging up your e-bike overnight. The shed is a secure and dry area to leave coats and wellies giving you more space to enjoy the Barn.

The Barn was recently installed by a local bespoke build company, ‘Boon’. The environment is at the core of Boon’s ethos and each build uses locally sourced reclaimed materials alongside the most thermally efficient products to help keep energy consumption low but without compromising on the luxurious finish.
We chose this design as it sits lightly and comfortably within its secluded setting.

Guest access
The market town of Midhurst is approx. 4 miles to the east with the larger town of Petersfield approx. 7 miles west.

Petersfield has a mainline station with direct links to London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour. By car, Central London can be reached in little over an hour (traffic depending!).

The Barn is located near to the popular Estates of Goodwood and Cowdray, the cathedral city of Chichester is just 20 mins away and the stunning beaches along the South coast a 40 min drive.

Walking and cycling trails can be joined directly from the farm with the well know Serpent Trail and South Downs Way easily reachable on foot or bike.

There are numerous pubs and restaurants in the area with M&S Food, Tesco, Sainsbury’s Local and Waitrose all within 5/10 min drive.

The nearest pub is 10 minute walk away. The nearest footpath is on our doorstep and runs through the farm. We are also lucky to be served by a number of ‘destination’ Farm Shops. Further local information will be provided once your stay in confirmed.

Other things to note
Please note we are a private but working equestrian farm. Whilst you will have complete privacy you may see dogs being walked, horses being exercised and general farm work undertaken.
We will of course respect your peace and privacy.

Due to the working nature of our farm sadly we cannot accommodate children or pets.
