YM's apartment is a cozy, rather to say a bit small if we would have more than 3people for each room. This would be Japanese ordinary apartment so if you want to stay in bigger room, you have to pay more. Sheets are usually dried in closet, it was not neat and clean. Found some other guest wrote same thing, think YM should, consider about it. Totally these rooms are very nice and ideal for visiting all Kyoto, Very famous mall" Teramachi Kyogoku would be only 7mins walk. There are something I thought about this apartment, which Japanese house or apartment usually have but these not. *No TV at all *To use wifi to stream videos and YouTube are strictly prohibited and their limit would be incredibly small for 3people. So how could we get information about our tours? *No shower toilet which most of Foreigner tourist would expect in Japanese house. *double sized bed which YM described in his website would definitely not double in world standard even in Japan, we call it semi double sized. His apartment has one semi double sized bed and one foldable sofa bed. I slept on semi double bed alone but my wife rejected to sleep together on the same bed rather to sleep with my son on the sofa bed. If the guest would have more than 3adults, I think it would be very difficult to find the space on the beds. Last I should excuse myself I described a little minor things too much, my friends and family totally liked YM's apartment. Actually I called him for the sheets and some, he immediately respond and tried to solve.

The description of the apartment was very accurate and all the instructions were well laid out in the welcome package. We weren't greeted by the host, but really appreciated some of the tips that he sent over. The apartment was definitely a bit difficult to find. The map led us directly to the right intersection, but none of the buildings actually have numbers on them that match the address given. We finally found the right spot because the picture of the mailbox matched the corridor of mailboxes we were in. The apartments were overall clean and everything was provided for us. The location was extremely convenient to getting around Kyoto by train and cab. We had a great time overall and loved using Y's apartments as our home base.

Yuto was very nice even we did not meet him in person. He also responded questions very fast and everything was well prepared and written in the guild, except that it took long time for taxi drivers to figure out the location and it took even longer for us to figure out which apartment it is as we could not understand the Japanese street number.
