What a great bed and breakfast! We instantly felt less stressed pulling into the inn, where we were met with beautiful trees and landscaping. We are history buffs and enjoyed all of the inn property's rich history. Alan and Barbara are very kind and knowledgeable innkeepers. The place is impeccably designed, and the breakfast is great too!

Wow! What a nice couple! and so inspirational. Very interesting people! They have put their hand to so many ventures! This is not a 'crash on someone's couch'; this is a true B&B with delicious full breakfast and conversation, a historic setting with so much to see, and lovely rooms with comfortable beds. There is a lot to do in Crawfordsville; we spent half a day there and half a day hiking in Turkey Run. Hope to make it back again soon!

Response from B. Brookie & Alan:
Thank you Laurie and Andy. You are so nice and we enjoyed your visit. It is guests like you two that make Inn-keeping fun. It means so much when guests appreciate the history and the surrounding environment with creeks and nature. We do thank you for supporting our preservation project. Crawfordsville does have events that I think you would enjoy so please check the Wabash College calendar and the Montgomery County Visitors Bureau for up coming entertainment.

We are two artistic retirees who love history, gardens, flowers, art, music, and nature.
The Vacation Cottage is a charming 1964 house that is surrounded by woods, nature trails, and sits over a spring fed, bubbling creek, It is fully equipped so that you are self sufficient and have a house key to come and go as you please. This offers you a private place to get away from daily worries and work, to have peace and quiet or explore creeks and rocks that is Indiana's most scenic, natural setting. Go back to work refreshed and recharged.

NEW 2ND Location for business, and short term temp. employment. The Ristine-White Guest House on the north side of Wabash Campus on fraternity row. When finished the 2nd floor will have 3 rooms w/baths and a large room on the entry level with sitting room, bedroom, w/bath. Pictures to come.
Crawfordsville, IN offers many interesting things to do. Museums, state parks, country roads to bike, and near to Lafayette (30 mi), Indianapolis, auctions, antique stores, and Amish countryside scenes. The area is famous for visiting the remaining old mills and covered bridges. Chicago is only 2.5 hours north, Indianapolis with the 500 Speedway, zoo, Children's Museum, IMA (Art museum), The Pacers, Colts, Theater, major fashion malls are 45 minutes.
We enjoy visiting with all guests and share our knowledge of the plants, local history, and the woolen mill. We feel honored when guests arrive as strangers and leave as friends. Inquiries are welcome.
