It was a nice to meet and host Belle, therefore I am a little bit sorry for she feels that she paid too much. On the other hand, I strongly believe that 80 euro per night in late June for a fully equipped 1-bedroom apartment (air condition, dishwasher with detergent, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine with coffee, kettle, washing machine with detergent, iron and ironing board, mosquito nets on every window....) in the center of town with private free parking in the front yard that has a grill and is not shared with hosts or other guests is a more than fair price.
I would also like to emphasize that Šibenik's center is desperately lacking parking places, so many apartments in center of town with lower prices don't have it and it needs to be paid additionally on a public parking lot. Some apartments have it, but they are dislocated and guests need to walk there for 5 or sometimes 10 minutes. So, there are not so many apartments that have private parking on premises and it has a certain value (in money and comfort).
Also, all old Dalmatian coastal towns have narrow streets in the center and it is difficult to drive through such streets with wide cars, so I do advise guests that tell me in the beginning they have big/wide cars and are not used to Dalmatian narrow streets to find accommodation elsewhere because this is a center and the street is narrow. On the other hand, middle class car can enter this street and fit parking place without any problems.
